Two Birds Eatery reviews
73Disappointing breafast. Asked for pancakes, but was presented with a plate of pikelets, syrup, 1/2 banana and sliced oranges. Poached egg presentation very plain. Food usually very good, but this time not worth the money. Coffee average
The food at this cafe was absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced and each dish was beautifully presented. I especially recommend trying their signature dish, the avocado toast with poached eggs. The combination of creamy avocado and perfectly runny eggs was simply divine. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!
Shout out to Roshni & Masum for brilliant customer service
The food is good and the coffee is okay, but I don't recommend it for a new parent. They advertise a changing table, but it is missing.
Staff were lovely and coffee was nice, but the food took far too long - after waiting for our meals for almost an hour we had to leave. Really disappointed considering it wasn’t THAT busy.
It was a below par dining experience for my family. Service was poor and some of the orders were incorrect (added onion when two family members asked for none) chicken tenders were over cooked and chewy. One order had lots of veggies and a stingy amount of chicken. Definitely not worth the expensive price paid for the food.
Hamilton's best kept secret. I've visited a couple of times now, If you eat with your eyes.check out the cabinet food. Kids menu is great too. Nice table layout inside and outside.
Smoothie bowls are not to be overlooked.
I have 2 fussy pre-teens who loved this place.
Parking, wheelchair and pram friendly
Thumbs up if you find this helpful
Had tofu egg benedict
One egg was hard, the other was heading that way but still had some run.
The tofu was delicious but could've done with more hollandaise or other sauce as was slightly dry without anything
Lovely Cafe but the food is ridiculously expensive and not that great and the staff are very "formal"? Nice but not particularly warm.
Good food and fast service.didn't like the charge for ordering table delivery online though
Went there this afternoon with my grandma to have a good lunch as she said she had gone there a few years prior.
She insured me that it was lovely. However it was not what she or I expected. My grandma ordered an Arnold bowl and I ordered an eggs Benedict with bacon.
On arrival I had gotten chicken instead of bacon which would have been fine with me if the chicken was good. It was not. It was flavourless and very oily. The eggs were nice however they didn’t come with much greenery.
My grandmothers meal was much the same, chicken was dry and flavourless, Sweet potato was somehow dry and oily. The salad was literally grated carrot and zucchini.
As for our drinks the coffee was bitter and my hot chocolate was lukewarm and bland.
I will not be returning, it’s a shame as I’m told it used to be quite nice.
Amazing food
Good gluten free, Dairy Free options
Quick food
Great quiet relaxing atmosphere
Saturday morning
Took ages
Luke warm coffee that tasted bad.
Burnt rubbery pancakes that were not eatable.
By then the kids had had enough and daughter had to go to work. Not good at all!
Very chill atmosphere and gorgeous outdoor sitting. Free fast wifi is always a bonus for doing some office work from cafe!
Great food. I ordered their Oxleys breakfast and it was the best cafe meal I've had. Big meal and first place honours to the chef. Outdoor area is nice. Will definately be returning.
The food was very disappointing bland and basic with key ingredients missing from our meals as well as slow service
No hand towels no toilet paper in bathroom
Service was ok. The Arnold bowl was very dry and had no dressing, had to ask for some. This place used to be great, but it’s totally changed and gone downhill. Overpriced for the quality you get, quite frankly very disappointed. Will be going elsewhere from now on
We have been here before and had the sticky pancakes several times. While they taste great, the serving size has got smaller and the price has gone up. We were disappointed as the serving size of them the last two visits was so small. They were not filling and definitely not work $25! We won’t be going back again.
I have always been obsessed with the Peanut Butter Smoothie Bowl and without fail. I went there this week for lunch (nobody was there except for the two of us). I ordered the bowl and cannot believe how disappointing it was. I'm sorry to say but that was definitely not worth the money I paid for it. There was no peanut butter smeared on the edge, the toppings used to have beautiful fresh fruit (kiwi fruit, strawberries, banana etc) and the granola was a homemade toasted generous amount - none of these were part of the smoothie bowl that I used to love. Instead there was some banana, and the sprinkling of "granola" was coconut shavings, pumpkin seeds and maybe some sunflower seeds (not toasted).
My friend ordered the house smoked salmon. The only thing she actually enjoyed was the salmon itself but the salad looked like a garnish and the carrot was literally just grated carrot. The boiled egg was even over boiled. What has happened to this place? It is so sad. Unfortunately I won't be back and will ensure my friends hear of my experience too.
Super allergy friendly! I'm vegan and had multiple options for breakfast. They had amazing Vegan slices. Genuine customer service, and good quality food. As a bonus the outdoor area is a perfect place to eat on a sunny day!
Was here about a year ago and was really impressed. Today however the service was pretty poor. I ordered the Arnold Bowl and it came out really dry and lacking flavour. I checked with the waiter whether it should have a dressing and he said ‘maybe it was just mixed in there’, I told him it wasn’t, so he took it back to the kitchen and it came back with a cold satay sauce just plopped on the top. Not impressed, and wouldn’t recommend this cafe.
