I ordered always creamy mushroom here and it's awesome. I visited already 5 times here.awesome service as well.highly recommended

Very Poor.a change of ownership of the once great Vibes Cafe has not been good. Breakfasts downsized without a reduction in price, tea delivered and spilt over the table, no apology or offer clean up, large flat white that barely had seen any coffee beans delivered by a bloke with blood pouring out of a wound on his hand. GROSS

We were here for beach hop so knew that things would be very busy.
Our coffee was great (after two days of not so nice coffee from elsewhere) I only wish I had found this place sooner.
Welcomed with a smile & told to have a nice day as I left.

First impressions of the building "Detailed and Fancy". Quick, clear, and consice customer service not having to wait at all to order my meal (Thank god for technology). The eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon was to die for.yum. The staff knew exactly where to take the orders and didn't randomly come up and ask "Did you order this"? Great work atmosphere, the staff are all very positive, and committed to continuing employment at the cafe. My favorite cafe.

After a big night we were recommended Vibes Cafe for their all day breakfast. We ordered two meals - both meals were supposed to come with ciabatta bread which was listed first on the eggs benedict breakfast and last on the works breakfast items. After taking one bite we realised the meal was served without ciabatta. We grabbed a menu to double check and found that we were correct. When staff were confronted the younger staff were genuinely sincere with the exception of a senior staff member whole became agitated that we weren't happy after being mislead. The boss came out and aggressively told us there was nothing they could do and staff members 'should have told us'. We were offered 50 cents off our $60 meal but chose to leave instead which was recommended when we received legal advice. This issue is now being resolved with the council and MPI with a suspected fine for 'fraudulent or deceptive activity' unless the cafe chooses to remedy the situation which seems unlikely. Be very careful eating here, and always speak up when there is something wrong! Hope your experience is better then ours was: -/

Coped well with huge crowds due to NY. Meal was average but priced accordingly. Staff were great

Awesome cafe and great staff, even though it was super busy today with new years and everyone coming over for Joe's farm this cafe did a awesome job today and the food was delicious!

Must be a new management from what i previously experienced, great space for a big group. Friendly staff however food was average. Portion was very small i expected more for the price

Far too expensive for what it has, still worth a look you might get lucky, has a good lot of stock.

Great food and service, here for beach hop so it was very busy and still not to long of a wait.

Love the coffee and the people, even have a dog water bowl and place to harness the dogga while I order.

Literally the most unacceptable food that I've ever been served. The poached eggs were so uncooked that the whites were still transparent and so soaking wet from the poaching that the plate was like a pool. After specifically asking for no bread, bread was served anyway, but of course it was soggy as heck from all the water! Still struggling to fathom how anyone could serve this.

Good range of food, located on the main drag. We sat outside with our dog who was busy mugging the passers by

Although busy had our nice coffees delivered promptly and didn't have to wait too long for our nice variety of food to arrive.great outside tables in shade and sun.

Stopped in here for a mid morning feed and was not disappointed! French toast, eggs benny, and the salads are all great! Coffee was spot on and the curly fries and sidewinders were the highlight of the day maybe just needed to come with a bit of zingy ketchup to spice things up.

Just the vibe we were looking for on a busy Friday morning. 11/10 how good.

Food was really nice, Caesar salad was good. Proper iced coffees too. Would go back if in Whangamata.

This is probably my favourite breakfast place in NZ. The chef takes pride in making only the best everything.

Been there twice. Good pancakes. Tried French toast and loved it. Second visit was pancakes again with curly fries and pumpkin soup. Good food. Will go back again.
