Woodturners Cafe reviews
60Nice little cafe with a huge range of delicious looking cabinet food. They also have a could of gf df items which is great
Wish I could give a zero. Bland, tiny portions. Pancakes had about 6 blueberries and fritters the same with hardly any corn. Doughy batter. Very expensive for two pancakes and some cream. Fruit was more of a garnish than part of the meal as described. Luke warm, average coffee. Very disappointing.
This is an Awesome place to have a coffee, a Shake, cuppa tea etc, The food is at good prices & they have some AWESOME clocks that I would love to buy, plus all the nic nac's they have. Just but you can't just walk in & walk out as there is so much to see. You can dine inor out & plenty of car parks. Come & have a look for yourself you won't be sorry, but SURPRISED. Smile when you leave as it's a great experience. Cheers. Sally Taylor
The food is good but the atmosphere is great. It's warm, dog friendly, has easy ample parking, knick knacks to explore, and cozy corners well set up in various areas of the cafe.
I have previously enjoyed the food, ambience and service here.
This trip we thought lady at til abrupt, not helpul.no happy disposition emanating from service.food expensive.
A popular cafe with some interesting arty pieces. Food ok but for those who don't eat pork or ham, there seemed to be a lot of foods incorporating those. Coffee was good and hot and i liked the big tables.
Been here plenty of times and never disappointed. The food is great, the coffee is awesome and the service outstanding. Always a nice stop off and love the outside garden seating.
Quick service, good coffee and good food. Also always enjoy looking at and sometimes buying kitchen things etc they have for sale.
The cabinet food looked very nice. Never been there before. The food was quite expensive and small portions. Quite bland. Very disappointed and a bit grumpy spending a lot for so little.
Very pleasant, always reliable, for just a quick coffee and/or very nicely presented cakes/savouries and excellent service. Super for a pitstop to/from Auckland.
Very nice venue, lovely food with a good selection for all. Lots of outdoor seating and a play area for children. Great experience.
Love popping into here when passing. Like the fact they have a kids playground, an area for dogs and also like all their repurposing of items. Nice coffee too.
The perfect place to stop on a journey. Great playgrounds for kids as well as pleasing food choices and friendly service. Dogs welcome on a huge sheltered deck.
It's the most beautiful café I have visited in New Zealand. Spectacular garden and interiors with countryside views. And the most important thing, their food and coffee are delicious. I will come back!
Friendly service, extensive menu, eclectic decor (love the door handle to the bathroom). Salmon bagel- lots of salmon, but underwhelmed with 4 ingredients for $19
Lovely friendly staff and fantastic food. Great pit stop, plenty of parking for motorhomes, area to walk dogs, great Nashi tree there to.
Fantastic place to stop on the way to or from Auckland. Food is always good, as is th coffee and service. Also love looking at the bits and pieces for sale, just in case there is something new.
Best Under 5s play area I have ever seen at a cafe! Loved the general ambience, really peaceful outdoor decks looking out onto farmland. Loved the general design of the place with lots of little quirks (like cleavers for door handles!)
Worth stopping into. It's exterior belies the great food, ambience & gift ideas inside. Keep it up folks. Nice to have better than ordinary food on the run!
An excellent cafe and arguably the best in the district. Plenty of room inside, under shelter outside or just outside. Artifacts on walls and tables. Great kiwi country cafe. Plenty of kiwi delicacies in the cabinet or as listed on the wall. Quick friendly service. Rural outlook, plenty of parking. Secure playground for kids.
