Woodturners Cafe reviews
60Incredible service always here. 4 of us lunched this time and no disappointments with food being top notch. Prices are good and pleasant surroundings. We often meet friends here for lunch.
Maybe it was on off day when we went but the food wasn't good sorry guys. Was not cheap and couldn't eat some of it. Some undercooked and some burnt.
Fantastic food.wow.so.so.good.
Great staff.awesome service.so much to see and do.recommend to everyone
Generally these guys are good but today they lost our order and did a really bad job cleaning tables. They also lost track of what was left to order. Pull your socks up, guys.
What a great surprise. It was an interesting place to stop. So many things to look at. The food and coffee were great with lots of variety and the staff were friendly
Great cafe on the road, delicious country all-day breakfast. Some interesting unusual merchandise to get - no-spill and self- fitting lids
Very disappointed with service, very rude, smart, smug attitude. Native tree company much, much more pleasant.

We popped in here to grab some takeaway afternoon tea, everything looked good and we highly recommend stopping here. They have loads for the kids to do and even an area for dogs. We will be back
It’s our go to cafe every time we travel beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, great for dogs, great kids playground can not fault this cafe at all
A favourite stop for us on our way to BOP. Always friendly staff, great food, delicious Harney Tea selection and a resident cat. Perfect combination!
This cafe would be a 5 if it just had a few more gluten free options and it deserves it. It's situated on a busy highway in a made to suit villa, has excellent parking, kitchen and home wares to look at and buy, great indoor and outdoor spaces for groups or individuals, home made delicious food, and is wheelchair, pet and kid friendly. Definitely going again and again.
Rare find of a wonderful cafe in the middle of nowhere. Great food, great staff, and good play areas for the kids
Great Devonshire tea there and plenty of other great options. A large carpark, dog walking space, kids playground and plenty of seating options make this a brilliant stop off point. Considerable thought and effort has gone into building this cafe.
We stopped here for some afternoon tea with the kids who were delighted with the playgrounds (2!) and we were impressed with the homemade pie. Clean, cute and comfortable.
Enjoyed a tasty bowl of beef nachos & lovely mocha for lunch. The staff were friendly & efficient, and we didn't have to wait for long, despite it being very busy with customers. I love the different seating areas to choose from, children's play area outside, & the variety of knick-knacks, art and gormet sauces for sale
Highly recommended.
Very nice and slightly quirky roadside stop. Delicious and very well made coffees. Seen some very handsome slices of cake going out as well. Good size all day breakfast and lunch menu plus decent seating area. Very pleased we pulled in!
Great selection of beautiful food. Large portions. Many options for seating. Original gift selections.
I love this place! Great food and coffee. Even a place to let your dogs stretch and run free while you eat. Great stop if you are travelling between Auckland and south. Make sure to also visit the Ngatea Water Gardens!
Great coffee and meal stop. Big variety of tasty food and lots of nice giftware in cafe also to browse. A favourite stop for all our family
