It was a bummer really, I ordered the English breaky and my mate said i did as well, 10min later the waitress comes over as says Mexican breakfast, I said no English for me, she goes away, 2 minutes later the other waitress brings the same plate back and says Mexican breakfast, English i said, then she says "Oh Oh i mean English" and puts it on the table and disappears, it was pretty cold Mexican mince, I should have returned it, but was in a hurry, Very disappointed, one bloke next to us had an English breaky that would have been nice sausages etc. It always happens to me: - (.

Busy, quirky hidden gem on Jackson St. This was my first visit and I'd definitely go back there again. The counter food options looked amazing, but I had the french toast with bacon and banana, and my partner had the bubble and squeak. My french toast was huge and very yummy, but I would've preferred my banana to be pan-fried to caramelise it which sweetens it nicely. My partner really liked his dish. The coffees were great and the service was really quick. The toilet and lino floor could, however, do with an upgrade as I could literally tilt the whole toilet.

Excellent brew here. Great flavour and good service - second visit do consistently good. Easy to recommend

Wow, I highly recommend the French toast with bacon and banana, always a favourite and they did a great job. Friendly staff and well priced, I will be back

Very good coffee and very delicious meals of the day. Fun funky staff, a great find on one of NZ’s great shopping streets.

Been here a few times now just for the counter food and the coffee. Both reliably tasty, and great friendly customer service. Community vibe.

This place is incredibly unique!
A definite MUST on the list of cafe's to visit.
The art is stunning, Coffee is delicious and I highly recommend trying the muffins ️

A great range of cabinet food is the highlight here. I was feeling carnivorous so I went for the Mince It with poached eggs and a cappuccino. If you like your mince meaty you won’t be disappointed but I think it was a bit much for me. Definitely needed some liberal salt and pepper and t-sauce to balance it out. Coffee was good, but I should have ordered a juice or other drink to freshen up my brunch

What a brilliant cafe. In the week that I have been coming here, I cannot fault the staff on service, friendliness. The food is good but best of all the coffee is fantastic

I know I'm boring, but always having Eggs benedict allows me to compare venues easily. For instance these guys served the best bacon I have tasted in years everything was great but the bacon was amazing. I loved the little outdoors area with the birds chirping and the sun beating down. A better than average coffee helped give me a brunch to remember. The deli counter selection looked yummy too. I'll be back again soon.

Top notch devine food and atmosphere. Couldn't ask for more the food is delicious and lovely coffee. Couldn't ask for better service.

This cafe has inside and outside seating. The decor is fun with bright paintings on the wall giving a nice atmosphere.

Coffee was great, but the muffin I had was very doughy and not nice and the cake was very dry.

Service was good and staff friendly.

My favourite Petone Cafe. I'm spoilt with cafe options in Lyall Bay wellington so having Beanie as a Hutt option when Im out that way is a life saver:)

Love Beannie! They do excellent coffee and really yummy food! The staff and customer service is excellent and they are always pretty speedy with how quickly the food comes out. I think they have a great menu that caters to lots of dietary preferences.

Have always had good service from this Cafe. They make you feel welcome and appreciated when you leave. Highly recommended.

The hours stated is Saturday untill 16: 30. I was stopped far and ran in the rain due to traffic to get therebat 16: 18 and be told sorry were closed while all staff are still there including the cashier. Nothing was switched off and they just did not want to take the time to make a take away cup of coffee. I think that is really bad service

Staff awesome. Great gluten and dairy free options. Bubble and squeak delicious. Coffee (Long black) smooth. Great place to eat

A great cafe with a friendly welcome and thebest coffee ever. I am always glad for an excuse to pop in for a coffee and snack.
