Benedicts Cafe

A pleasant surprise- we hadn't been there before but liked the range of counter food, the coffee, the other things on sale that one doesn't usually find in a cafe, and the atmosphere. A lot of locals there too which is always a good sign!

Wow first time in 10 years of drinking Americano coffee I have been charged for a very small jug of hot water. Just moved back here and was going to make this our local and have been shouting the tradesmen here for lunch the last couple of days but not again.: (

They'll substitute gluten free gf bread in most of their things, making it a really easy place for a celiac. And the kids loved the bottomless pancakes on Saturday mornings

Although quite shabby, older café it has a good coffee and homey feel to it. Random stuff being sold there, like hand-knitted goods. Their breakfast/brunch menu is surprisingly good with reasonable prices. There's a post office inside, too.

Great for a catch up or interview. Friendly staff, good food and coffee. Bonus is free parking.

Great place to go with young children. The kids had a great time in the play area and they have the biggest coffees I've ever seen! Staff were very friendly.

Can't argue with an all you can eat pancake buffet, with a selection of toppings. We went there as a special treat and it's turned into a regular weekend jaunt. Absolutely love it.

This is a great example of a community cafe meeting place. A must place to visit, so much more than just good food and coffee.

Very yummy hot chocolate and food. A great child friendly care with big children's play area. Maybe our new favourite!

Great place to take preschool kids. The cabinet food is fine, muffins, slices etc. They have a menu too

Great cafe that doubles as the community post shop. The cafe has great coffee and food, and while you wait, can watch the kids enjoy the play area with a wide array of toys. Fun for everyone, and the staff are helpful enough to help you out when you find that you need a second set of hands.
Bathroom comes complete with a change table and sanitary pail for when your young child does number two while you wait for your coffee.
Certainly parent friendly and a great place to meet up with friends with kids.

Nice food, but a somewhat chaotic feeling here - a cafe that doesn't quite know what it wants to be.

Poor service that went down hill from there. Cannot comment on the coffee, but ordered corn fritters that I prayed were not mine when they brought it to the table. I would have thought with the amount of time it took to make, there would be a lot of love on the plate. Absolutely none! Could not even force myself to eat the meal.

Great location good size cafe. Awesome for parents to bring their kids with toys and a mini playground inside. Yummy food and good food for kids too! People without kids if wanted to be away from play area can sit at front of cafe well away from kids.

This is a great cafe of you have little ones. The play area is great and has an abundance to toys. The food is amazing. Today I had the French toast and it was sublime. My husband had the half serve of big breakfast and was blown away. Would totally reccomend coming here. Great food, great for kids play and lovely staff.

Love this place - awesome for all ages. So kid friendly with a lovely big play area for the children and big enough that there are spaces to cater for everyone's needs.from tables to sofas. Nommy food too and the staff are veto friendly.
