Delicious food, beautiful views and great services, makes me want to return again! Had a birthday celebratory lunch for a dear close friend of mine and we were all satisfied! Definitely will be back again!

I used to really like coming to Coenes. Menu used to be really good great variety. But now it has changed and not in a good way. It is very fish focused. I was very disappointed

The only thing going for this restaurant is the location. The food was average and quite small portions, it wasn’t satisfactory. Its cost us $124 and we weren’t even full. The food looked aesthetically pleasing but not worth the price. We tried calling the restaurant multiple times beforehand but they never answered or got back to us. Customer service was okay.

Great location and the interior has been redecorated really nicely. Very quiet on a Sat night. I was disappointed with the waiter service and the food prices seemed quite expensive, especially for their burger which was $29 without chips, and most of the starters were over $20.
I was also very surprised that their menu didn't include more seafood options for a restaurant right on the sea. The crispy squid starter was good. Then for mains we had the pan fried fish on risotto and the lamb rump with charred broccoli side dish, which were nice but not brilliant for the price paid.
Very limited wine menu and no low carb beer options.

Had the calamari recently, and it was definitely not worth the price. The cocktails were mostly made of incredibly expensive ice. Coens used to be a good experience but the quality has dropped but the prices climb ever higher.

I had a terrible experience at the restaurant today. My friends and I went there for a meal, but we were abruptly told to leave because they were closing, even though there were still two hours until closing time. What's worse, we were the only table asked to leave. This was extremely disappointing and rude customer service.

I had the potatoe rossti with smoked fish which unfortunately was burnt. The smoked fish was ok but not that much of it. My partner had the Avocado smash with feta. She was unhappy with avocado as it was served as a kind of paste which obviously contained a lot of brown bits, leftover avo from previous day we thought.

Coffee was good.

Great meal for lunch and even though it was busy the food came out quickly, was fresh and hot and delicious. Great cider recommendation as well. Friendly staff and beautiful views of the water. Will definitely be back.

Brunch here was absolutely delightful. The staff was very kind and helpful, especially Paul our server who looked after us.

Paul have been an excellent waiter. His Irish accent gives good Sunday morning vibes. I will recommend the place for sure.

‘Miso and Apple Fish’ was served without apple, poached egg was undercooked and slimy and from walking in the door to being served food took over an hour!
Staff were great (except perhaps the chef/kitchen staff️) and location is great. Kids food was good too. Maybe we were unlucky going at a busy time and they were understaffed

We went at lunchtime. I had my usual - fish n chips. The fish was warehou. The 2 pieces were small and a bit dry. The obligatory red cabbage slaw was not dressed. The price was about $7 higher than what I expect to pay in a place like this.

The food was so good. The service was excellent too. This place is great all round with a lovely view to enjoy while you're eating your food

Fantastic service, views, and food! Always a fun atmosphere. Got the cheeseburger this time (tastes just how it should - yummo)! Accomodating with table number changes too. Thank you! Will be back for sure ️

Not sure why it took more than 15 mins to give couple of beers which were on tap. Did not expect the rudeness the staff, a bit sad. So had to leave without a drink:/

They were very busy but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Trouble was the staff were rushed and disorganized. We sat for a long time before our orders were taken. 3 meals were brought out but it was about 10 minutes before the 4th came out. Same with drinks. Our waiter asked if everything was alright as he rushed past but didn't stop to hear our answer. 3 plates were cleared away but the 4th never was. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else. The food was pleasant but nothing compelling to go back for. Disappointing!

Their starters or sharing plates are huge! Be prepared for a full meal! Service is good, food is good and prices are good.

It's a nice place to go with groups or families with children. Nothing fancy, nice and basic.

Great service, yummy food, awesome view, what else could we ask for. The seafood risotto is to die for. Was gutted they changed to a new menu so no more cloudy clams but I'm happy with the risotto:)
