Went here on a date night. Great place. So many games. The staff were great too. Food is ok, great to have so many vegan/vege options. Highly recommend.

Every time I have visisted Counter Culture I have had a wonderful time. The board game selection is AMAZING and the staff are really friendly, helpful and a joy to deal with. I'll happily keep coming back, and recommend that others do too!

Always good here. Good food and coffee. We enjoy coming to play games we are interested in before we buy them. Amazing selection of games too for all ages and interests.
Some of the game boards were a little dirty but overall they were good and had all the pieces and instructions.

We love this place! We actually go to roleplay rather than play board games, but they have a massive library for anyone who loves board games! The ambience is very chill and funky, with warm woods and bookshelves helping break up the space. The food at their cafe is _always_ good. Lots of vegan options and daily specials. Their homemade ice cream is rich and decadent. They even serve alcohol! Can't recommend highly enough. Good times!:)

Awesome, friendly, warm and an all round cool idea. For $10 or $5 with food/drink to play up to three hours of their incredible board game selection, what’s not to love.

An absolutely incredible little place to go! I've gone 3 times already this year, and have no doubt I will continue to keep going in the future. The overwhelming amount of games is made a whole lot easier by the amazing staff, who can help you and your crew find a game that is suitable by asking what you're into and what your skill level is. The pricing is super fair, overall a 10/10 place to go with a group of friends, whether large or small

An amazing selection of games, some you wouldn't have seen or heard of before. Team super helpful to find the right game for your style of game play. Very relaxed setting. Limited food options for those who have varied diets, but great for most!

Ordered coffees and food for 2, only to find that the 4 empty tables were reserved and we cannot sit anywhere. Would be helpful if person at counter had let us know before. Apt name for shop being called counter culture, because it definitely is.

Great place to while away a few hours! Hundreds of games to choose from, helpful staff to help you choose/explain the rules, delicious food (get the curly fries!) and a good selection of craft beers/other drinks. $5 to play for as long as you like. Would recommend booking a table as it's always pretty busy evenings and weekends
