I was not impressed with the food today. I had a small savoury that was served warm and a piece of Carrot cake that crumbled and fell to pieces. To me that is old stock also other places serve it with cream or yoghurt.

Didn't expect to find such a variety of cabinet food to eat plus a menu and blackboard special. What a lively place to come to. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very popular with the locals coming in for morning tea and lunch. With lovely staff greeting you and taking care of your order, it's the best place to come.
On-street parking, comfy seats and different sizes of tables.
Highly recommend the all-sorts slice.

I am a regular here for coffee mostly. Nice place, on the quiet side. Some staff are more courteous than others. However, some disappointment of the late, I seem to like my coffee with cream, it's a trend these days for those on Keto. Was going ok untill they decided to charge me an staggering amount for about 4 tablespoons of cream. Maybe they think cream ain't good for me I understand it's a business but generosity also goes a long way. Oh well might have to give up cream then! They wont miss me but I might miss the coffee. If you see me protesting outside with a placard dont be alarmed.

Nice food, really slow service. Booked for lunch with a party of 14, took a long time to get every person their meals

Unfortunately, three out of four meals were disappointing in either quality or size.

Still good food but the server with extensive metal in her ears let's the whole team down with her unsmiling, arrogant attitude as she tosses your meal down in front of you and leaves you feeling that you are SUCH a nuisance.

The orders are served very fast and the staff is very friendly. I really liked the market fish and the chips were amazing! This cafe is one of my favourites in the area.

I watched someone make two coffees the most ridiculous way
It really made no sense. And why would you sell in your cabinet what every other cafe sells in masterton. But just more expensive.

The coffee was good. But! The muffin I had was over heated in the microwave and was served with no butter and instead of a knife to cut it, it came with a cake fork. Wrong.
The floor was dirty and there were dead flies in the window. It was a hot day and they should of had the air con.on. I felt quite uncomfortable in the heat. Definitely room for improvement! ….

Took Waaaaay too long for a simple coffee order unfortunately. We will be going somewhere else next time.

I'm wondering if staff pride themselves on being rude. I was taken aback by how impolite staff are to customers and reading their reviews I'm obviously not alone in my experience. I wouldn't rate the food or coffee that highly either and cleanliness is quite low too. Don't go there!

Nice and calm atmosphere, more of an elderly kick back Cafe which i absolutely love about it. A hideaway from the kids an our normal scenery. Food was nice and sun is out today so definitely set the scene for a great lunch thank you. I had Eggs Benedict an hubby had a Steak Sandwich. Overall food was nice, customer service was lovely.

Fantastic coffee best on town 5 stars for coffee food is good as well except lamingtons have changed and they were the best New owner new ideas not good to change something that's not broken I.e Lamingtons. I will still go for the coffee

Such a pleasure to eat here! The atmosphere in this beautiful Cafe is relaxed and pleasant with very friendly staff. I have had the waffles and now the mushrooms and they were both outstanding. Really enjoy their coffee too. Overall, highly recommend.

New owners we wish them well. Excellent friendly staff. Very pleasant setting.
One has been hoping for an improvement in cabinet food.
