Food is very good, eggs where slightly under done but was fix quickly.
Staff are friendly and inviting, coffee on the day was good

The atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. The staff were very friendly and polite and the server was very attentive.

We were lucky enough to get a table for valentines an lucky is an understatement, service was awesome, second only to the amazing starters, so much flavor I had my eyes closed to focus on the flavor while I chewed! That nearly never happens! An the the main, we'll where do I start, most delicious potatoes an broccoli done so simply but so well, extremely well. An the salmon, it's just never been better! From all the places I've eaten salmon before, an I've eaten alot, this was top notch, I think I know how a wild bear feels in Canada now! Thanks team kainga

My fave place to eat in the wairarapa. Consistently good food and coffee. Have tried lots of items on the menu and love the fresh flavors and the fact it's healthy eating too. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Great service, staff very friendly, today they were extremely busy but coped well. I was amazed at the young lass preparing meals such a hard worker, as were all the staff. Been there 2 or 3 times never been disappointed.

Very fresh and clean atmosphere. While the service was a bit slow, it was made up with really nice food and a decent coffee.

2nd Visit in last few weeks had the mushrooms with blue cheese last vist yum and today salmon Benedict fab eating with home made hollandaise, coffee excellent too oh yes and staff, thanks for a lovely experience.

Food was yum. I had the ceaser salad. Atmosphere is great. Service was a little slow, but as catching up with friends this didn't worry us. Barister made a recommendation of adding honey to my iced coffee which turned out to be a good recommendation so thanks.

Got food poisoning. Wouldn't recommend. It was the bacon and egg wrap.
More context: Yes you did serve a bacon egg wrap as cabinet food. It was a couple of months ago now, we just put it all together on why I got sick as a friend who we meet at the Cafe also got food poisoning as they ate the wrap aswell. We just caught up with the friend again last week.

Nice coffee made quite well, clean establishment.

Not a fan of the menu food.
The waffle was floppy an soft the onion jam accompanying it was yuck!
The salmon used is not very hiquality an could be better sourced. $25 is a rip

the bulk bacon fries were a nice texture, but the bacon has some fish sauce flavour on it

Over all I couldn't even eat it an left with my plate still very full.

Would not recommend for a meal.

After walking the whole Main Street of Carterton, we were so glad to find this place. Situated next to New World, we saw 2 policemen tucking in to their breakfast on the outside table. We thought that if the local cops dine there, then it is worth a try.

I had tried to be good and not drink too much coffee, but I had to order because I wanted the coffee art the barista had been doing for other customers.
Bonus is that the coffee were good, too.

Tofu peppered toastie and scrambled eggs on sourdough were great, too.

If you’re on the way up from Martinborough, skip coffee there and come here instead.

Super friendly staff, was a bit odd getting a coffee in a glass but didn't take away from the fact it was delicious. Loved the openess of the environment.

A great space, freindly staff. Coffee was great lots of tasty sounding food options. I got a pork and prawn salad, it was fantastic.
Definitely worth stopping in.

A lovely addition to Carterton.

Bright open space, with a fair few tables outside and under cover, with a decent selection of cabinet and menu options for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.

Good for a quick pop in brunch, or a coffee and bite to go.

Small selection of toys in the corner for younger kids, as well as a colouring in menu for the arty ones.

Staff are friendly and accommodating, and the food we had was excellent. Looking around I could have picked what any of the other patrons we’re having and been just as happy.

Kids really enjoyed their Gluten free option from the kids menu.

Loved it there. Seafood Chowder and the Venison Burger were Awesome.
And great service from their staff.

Definitely our new favorite breakie spot, great atmosphere, clean & delicious!
Service was a little slow but the Kai & coffee was well worth the wait!
