Great location, and nice servers, but the food was kind of disappointing (we were there for breakfast). Coffee was okay. Maybe their dinner and cocktails are better?

Great range of craft beers, good selection of locally inspired food and snacks. A little expensive but the burger I had was definitely work it. So good.

Amazing food, lovely location! I would say a must visit place at Wellington. I only had beer this time to drink but the cocktails menu looks exciting with lots of very different ingredients, I'd say it's a must try.

Shambolic service, drinks didn't arrive, had to ask for them. Four meals, cold and burnt. Avoid.

I would not recommend this place at all. The staff are rude and the food is average. We asked the waitress to heat up baby food for our son after ordering our meals and was told by her no as the microwave was too hot and then she said she was too busy. It blows my mind that this cafe which is based on culture refuses to heat up baby food. Our coffee was burnt and our food was cold. We were left to wait while they took orders from people that had come after us and made to feel inferior. Potentially the worse brunch experience we've ever had.

Fantastic spot, very covid friendly, sat outside in the sun and ordered drinks by a qr code provided. Great idea. Cold beer in the sun, out of the wind. Perfect

We had the vegan bolognaise on flat bread and vegan sweetcorn fritter meals - they were absolutely delicious! Food came out quick, staff were so friendly and helpful and it was lovely sitting outdoors. Definitely recommend and will be back:)

Wonderful spot by the water but sheltered from the wind. The outdoor seating is amazing! QR codes allow you to order and pay from your table without having to wait for a server which was very cool. The food menu is very cool with some great traditional fare. The drinks menu is limited but sufficient. Will definitely be back.

Loved this place! Very authentic and love their culture focusing on sustainability, they also have my favourit fair trade and organic drinks from Karma Drinks so that was a bonus! The Hangi was delicious and the creamy paua was so rich!
Keep the great work guys!

On a sunny day in Wellington, there aren't many places better than this. Table service on the grass, great food and plenty of local wines.

Lovely staff and surroundings but the coconut chicken was burnt, paid $7 for a side of mushrooms which was just 2 grilled mushrooms, and other food ok but nothing special. Maybe just unlucky as it was very busy but there are so many great places to go that I guess the location is the big pull. Great for a drink on the waterfront.

Visited from Auckland for the weekend and a friend took us to Karaka cafe on a Saturday afternoon. They had live music from Māori artists that was simply amazing. The food was delicious and cocktails were devine. We were hosted by Jess who was a BAWSE! Very efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend this local spot.

Absolutely a huge rip off, my partner ordered 6 prawns for $29 which came with no side salad or fries or anything else and my nachos had hardly any toppings what so ever it was just dry nacho chips

It was okay but a bit overpriced for what you get. My coffee was good but my husband's tasted as though they had ran the water again as it was very watery. Hostess was quite rushed and busy and sadly this showed in her customer service.

Unfortunately found the service exceptionally slow, it seemed there were no where near enough staff on to cater to the number of guests that the venue can hold. We experienced long waits for all aspects of table service I.e. Receiving menu, having drinks orders taken, staff returning to take food order, and the longest wait of all was time taken for food to arrive.

To the staffs credit, they were all lovely and did their respective jobs well.when they got to us.

The fried squid and fried chips are absolutely great. Amazing service and atmosphere. Must visit when coming to Wellington.
