Been here during the day and it's not to amazing but definitely isnt terrible, but I went there last night after a night out and it was awful. Chips weren't cooked at all. Got my order wrong I tried explaining it to him but he didn't understand or just wasn't listening. I gave up trying. Forgot hummus on my food as well which I payed extra for. From what I can tell they don't care about serving people quality food when there drunk.

Dishonest boss for selections of sauce, portion and selection of veges and no water provide for food service! Do not go!

Meat on chips was pretty grim. Tried quite a few and this would be at the bottom. Will never be coming back

Friendly and mindful stuff, everyone is very nice and efficient. Generous portions, good quality meats. I love adding zucchini to my meal.

The kebab I ordered was not toasted, and there was not enough sauce in the kebab. Definitely not one of the best places in wellington.

What happened to the kebab I ate Saturday night?
So when we went there on Saturday night we tried kebab and it was just sooo amazing.then I have decided to have my dinner couple of times a week as I am kebab monsterbut unfortunately the quality of the meat was not same.i felt that the meat was not fresh.it was pre cut and reheat I guess which makes it dry and no taste at all! So I had to stop going there but please bring the fresh kebab back cause it was nice!

It is now one of worst Turkish restaurant in town. Very poor customer service; salad was not fresh and food served was not good either. Felt like wasted my money on İskender

Fresh and delicious Iskender dishes. The surroundings is clean, tidy and exotic. The service is quick, polite.

I paid $2 extra for fried zucchini and when I got home I discovered it was just a slice of fried carrot. They obviously get away with falsifying meals and hoping people after a night out wont care about what's actually in their meal.

Dry, re-heated meat, kebab without the taste, Turkish cousine can be really good, pity they can't make it.

Been here only after a night put, but always had a good falafel.also the staff is very friendly considering the type f guests they have around 4 am

To say this meal was disappointing would be an understatement. Flavourless food with tiny portions. They tried to over charge me by $10 extremely rude staff would not recommend.

Iskender was small with few salad options and dry tasteless microwaved falafel. For $17 I could have had a far more decent meal elsewhere. Won’t be going back.

Nice food, but the place needs to be cleaned. The fabric on the seats is so filthy its disgusting. I put my phone down on the seat halfway through my meal and then after noticing how dirty it was I was put off my food. Clean the seats guys!

I must have been lucky to go there on a good day. The guy was so friendly and cheerful. The food was nice. I would go again.

Great food nice and fresh but they need to clean the seats the fabric is very dirty and looks like it has not been cleaned in years

My favourite place for kebabs. The sauces don't make the whole thing soggy, and the felafel is good.
