Simmer Café reviews
76Great fast service. Had scrambled eggs on toast which by far the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Hot chocolate was great also, actually hot/"sip-able" which imo is perfect.
I have to say rather average, bought a pulled pork burger for $26 and was very average for that price
One of the best cafes in the suburbs to have a brunch outside in the sun with family and dogs, nice seating for a catch-up inside the cafe too.lovely burgers and pancakes.new found love: bacon pizza on their cabinet, heaven!
It's a really nice cafe in Churton Park for a feed and a drink when meeting people. I have been their for lunch and dinner before.
A good variety of well prepared food, some excellent speciality smoothies (Sejuicer, try it) and the coffee is consistently well done.
I really enjoyed it, friendly staff, clean and they make good coffee, food is delicious and the prices are reasonable
I tried the roti wrap and was really good combination. Good place and they have very fresh juices
Simmer Cafe good food selection very generous portions. Earlier couple of time had difficulties with the same person who served us first time on pre booked group outing he refuse to give couple of extra seats for the guest to sit at the same table (well before coved) and try to shift them to other side of the café well away from rest of us. Second occasion he came with a chicken dish instead of beef that we ordered and said, been a mistake in the kitchen and he thought that I wouldn’t mind to try the chicken. When I said no he again said “I thought you wouldn’t mind having the chicken” but eventually I got what I ordered.
It’s all good since then we avoid him when we order our meals at Simmer now.
This is the nicest cafe I have been in for awhile. Panini bread is made in store and is delicious. Loved the verge couscous salad too. Highly recommend
Consistently good coffees and mouth watering cake sices and panninis. Anything you pick here will surely satisfy your taste buds.
Only just discovered this gem when looking for "coffee near me". Staff were super friendly, coffee was great - and the "blackboard menu" ticked so many boxes!

Went for brunch with friends and our children, it was very busy but we got served quickly and the food was excellent.
A 2nd visit to this popular Cafe, & a farewell lunch for 10 ladies today. Quite busy but surprised it took an hour to serve meals ordered. Well presented but a couple were over-cooked.
Good Cafe but very busy
Good parking at the door.
Good range of food for either snacks or dining. Have good options for children.
Amazing food and friendly staff. Pizzas were very tasty and doughnuts light and delish. They also stock Foxton Fizz! I'll be back.
Great Cafe. Staff are very friendly, there is a good range of food AND they happily toast the scones! Coffee is also great.
We are from out of town, and were visiting my elderly Mother. Needed somewhere quiet to take her. When you are 93, you don't need a lot of food. Simmer was excellent and ticked all the right boxes. It reminded her of the home cooking she can no longer do. Thank you and we will see you again.
Busy cafe with good selection of cabinet food. Good menu choices. Friendly staff. Obviously very popular.
