My absolute most favourite restaurant! The food is always amazing and the service is outstanding from the wait staff to the chefs who always say hello when coming in. We go here regularly and when we went last night, as always, we were made to feel very special and had the most perfect evening so thank you. I also LOVE the maze like layout and when you book, it’s a surprise which room you’ll be in. Please don’t ever change or close!

Must try one of the pastas as they have excellent portion sizes. Home style atmosphere. Can't fault the service. 5 stars!

Rang Soprano for a takeaway for 2, the phone call started with excellent and friendly service. The pick up was also excellent, friendly and helpful staff, along with a big smile from the chef. The meal was amazing, best penne ever - thank you team:)

Really lovely service and wait staff, we requested a booth seat for my elderly father and they met our request perfectly. Very cozy spot, and the food was great. Highly recommended.

Seafood marinara should have been olive and caper marinara. Only had 1 prawn, 2 muscles and 1 baby octopus. $28.00 and it was awful. No apologies from the man in charge. Sad way to celebrate my wedding anniversary, It was horrible. Very upset. Came home to make toast!

During my visit there was another table and the people there were very boisterous. I could hardly hear my own voice.

Second time dining at Soprano and pasta’s were absolutely delicious. Very friendly team, great service. Looking forward to dining here again.

We went to celebrate two birthdays and loved it. Delicious food, really tasty, amazing flavours. Felt well looked after. Will be back.

The food was good, service was average, had to remind them about our drink order which they misplaced, the layout was a series of small cramped rooms, hence no atmosphere.

Not a fan but good service. The pasta is not fresh and is just dried pasta. Didn't seem very authentic at all. If you are going to use bacon, please at least use guancale or pancetta. But the dessert was good:)

Used to live in Petone and this restaurant was one of my favourites. Great that they have the extra dining space. Good choices of dishes and selection of wines. My risotto while reasonably tasty had the subtle flavours swamped with too much salt. And others in our party had the same issue with other dishes. Please don't be so heavy handed with the salt guys. I might be back. Not sure.

Good flavors, friendly staff. Nice range too for good prices. Only criticism is the gnocchi was a tad pasty. Otherwise amazing! Will be back:)

I like the food but the table is just too small for 3 people. We struggled to fit in our plates and our food.

A bit like the tardis, bigger on the inside. Doesn't seem much on the outside. Well worth the effort
