Can recommend going to Sopranos for a special occasion

Delicious food. A bit of a long wait but I think they were short staffed like most hospitality businesses at present. Would definitely return as the Amatriciana pasta was tasty.

Absolutely perfect. Went for an early meal, enjoyed the bread to start which was fresh out of the oven, pasta dishes for main, cooked al dente with beautiful flavours and aromas and the atmosphere was very authentic. Definitely go again.

Got menus sat down told waiter give us 5minutes to prepare our orders took 15-20min ‍️ to finally get a waiter over and take our orders.sat another 40 minutes and finally got our food. Food did not taste to bad, but still was quite a long wait, and very small set up

Excellent Italian cuisine. Average prices, excellent value.good wine selection. Great ambiance. Will be back.

Our favourite Petone restaurant. The portion sizes are crazy good & so so delicious. Best dish hands down is the Pappardelle Manzo. Ragu is mouth-wateringly good. I love the Linguine Amatriciana as well. Out of this world incredible. So looking forward to having my birthday here in a few weeks!?

A disappointing meal. The calamari tastes like its been shaken in a bag of bbq chips before serving, but was well cooked. The gnocchi was dreadful. Gluggy, gluey and sticks to every surface of the inside of your mouth making for a very uncomfortable meal as you try to discreetly remove the paste from your teeth and roof of your mouth. The sauce was bland and in dire need of a sprinkling of salt. Staff could not have been less interested in our experience and we certainly wont return.

Been here lot’s of time. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is brilliant. Good wine selection and definitely comeback & highly recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed the meals but we had to wait 50 minutes because the takeaways had priority over the sit down customers. That wait was most disappointing.

Good portion sizes.but the flavors too strong for gonnochi and risotto that we ordered. Pasta dish I thought was authentic pasta but store bought. Tiramisu soggy and runny. We got delivery so may have made the difference.

Will try again but eat in next time.

Highly recommend Soprano Petone. We ordered 5 meals on a Monday night as we were in isolation. Every meal was tasty and filling without leaving you over-full. You could tell the pasta & gnocchi were freshly made too.

Wasn't what I'd expect from "good" Italian food. Cream sauce needed a spoon.and I really think the vinaigrette on the bruschetta was actually bbq sauce. Good cauliflower/almonds veg side though. Calamari tasted like chicken nuggets.

This has a perfect measure of rustic and it really like a family Italian restaurant. The kitchen is in sight just how it should be. This visit took us back to memories of Italy and the town Luca. The pasta meals are generous and really delicious, we also had a tasty duck confit. The affagato is to die great coffee and the Drambuie was more than a double. They offer takehome of what you can't finish.

Food is absolutely amazing. Gone with groups a couple of times and everyone leaves full and incredibly happy. Beautiful Italian food.

Really nice food, good selection for Gluten free as well. Modest interior decor, great service.

Very tasty and good portion sizes. I liked being in one of the side rooms as it was quite and cozy.

We loved coming here. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. We definitely would be coming back. It’s cute small venue with lots of love and laughs.

Excellent little Italian restaurant.my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was a lovely evening. The chefs do the cooking in an open kitchen so you watch your meal being cooked. The food is 5 star, reasonably priced and tge service was great. Well worth a visit

A very enjoyable place to eat. Small front area but more space at the back. Very good food, good service, but book its popular!

My third time at Sopranos over three years. I had two previous lovely dining experiences. Unfortunately the third time, 3 weeks ago was disappointing from the table service to the my meal. My guest enjoyed her meal, our entree of Bruscetta and a Pate with bread was delcious. My main - ragu - was awful. Nothing ragu about it, so disappointing. I was baffled why they what they did - dry, salty & flavourless. And as the wait staff were not that flash either i had to wonder if perhaps the business was under new mgmt/ownership. I am returning in the next few days for a friends dinner & really hope the experience i'm writing about here was a rare off night.
