Sweet Vanilla Cafe

Had breakfast here with a few friends. Had been meaning to come for ages after hearing great things - and it lived up to expectations! Delicious meals

A firm favorite. Love the eggs bene on hash brown. Excellent coffee. I also appreciate the signs on the tables which inform me I can use the table until the specified reservation time.

Had heard great things so we decided to check it out. It certainly lived up to expectations. We ordered standard cafe brunch food, but it was prepared with attention to detail (bacon cooked consistently) and excellent flavour balance. It was served on what looked to be hand-thrown crockery, and everything arrived at table at the proper temperature. The room was overly warm, which is the only reason I gave four stars for atmosphere, but my iced coffee still came out frosty. Getting the temperature and timing right sets SVK a cut above the usual cafe experience.

It was busy but service spirit was still great and patient! We had salmon bagel stack, pancakes, cheesecake and coffees. They have a nice keto and gf selection too. Dishes were delicious and nicely presented. As it was my first time heading there, I was not sure if we had to be wait to be seated.

Just randomly stopped by as I drove past it. But will definitely be the new spot from now. Ridiculously fast service, friendly staff, and whoever is behind the kitchen is doing something right

I'm from Christchurch and had stumbled across this cafe about a month ago, I couldn't fault it at all, I came back to wellington this weekend with family and took them here for breakfast, once again this place didn't fail us, highly recommend

Great food, especially the keto stuff. Their keto cakes are to die for. Always friendly and efficient staff. Unfortunately they are the victims of their own success - are always packed and a little hard to just have a coffee and chat with a friend. Still highly recommend a visit.

Fabulous selection of keto food. All looked amazing. The menu is awesome but I just had cabinet food which was great. Pretty small building and very hot the day we came but all good. Definitely be back if I'm out the Hutt

Love SVK. Great food, especially the keto deserts, and a great place to catch up with friends and family and go solo. Staff is very friendly too.

Amazing to return after moving to Taupo and find the same owners n still the best Cafe in lower Hutt

It pays to book in advance but it's worth the wait. The food is delicious. It's a little squashed where we were seated and very hot at times in the front area it needed more of a breeze going through for sure. I tried opening the door to the outside area but wasn't able to as someone was seated.

Food, service, tidiness is excellent. The only problem is. It can get very noisy because it's quite small inside.

A fantastic little cafe that is big as with its lovely staff and absolutely amazing food selection. Particularly a heaven if you're on a Keto diet.

Very nice lunch. Was quite busy. Took a little while but that was due to shortage of staff due to the situation we are in with covid. We'll worth the wait for sure.

One of the best cafes in Wellington region. Their food and presentation of food is always great. They have the best date scones, hence why they always run out by 11am. Quality cafe with a delicious menu.

Never in my life have I had to pay so much for one measly coffee. Sweet Vanilla Kitchen will set you back $6.70 for a soy cappuccino, $6.70! To make matters worse the milk was burnt and I couldn’t taste any espresso at all. 70c for soy milk isn’t unheard of, but at least steam it nicely. Really disappointed. On a positive note the staff seemed lovely.

Amazing cabinet and menu, thoroughly enjoyed early morning breakfast with friends. I can recommend the eggs benedict
