Fabulous cafe - one of the best, if not the best, in the Hutt. Delicious coffee; great food, both cabinet selection and menu (with vegan and gluten free options for those who wish). Staff are friendly and efficient. Best to book for weekend brunch as it's very busy!

Sweet Vanilla is always super busy and very fast paced. The food is always amazing, the keto treats are the best around. The staff are super friendly even when they are busy.

Awesome little cafe on the edge of the Lower Hutt CBD. Good vibes and even better coffee, though parking can be a little hard to come by depending on the time you choose to go. We all need a little excercise in our lives anyway right, so you can burn off the calories from your cheese scone and flat white on the way back to your car. 70/70. Highly recommended.

The mocha was OK, the eggs benedict were perfect, which was just as well because I was angrily disappointed to see that every single item in the cabinet was labelled Vegan GF. That seriously restricted the options available to one who dislikes GF and REALLY dislikes being compelled to eat vegan. The perfect eggs and bacon earned the cafe 3/5

After almost completely refraining from ordering Eggs Benedict at cafés due to the fake mayonnaise-like Hollandaise sauce 9 out of 10 cafés serve, I thought I'd try it out here at Sweet Vanilla Kitchen. I was gladly surprised with a delicious breakfast with superb Hollandaise sauce. My iced mocha was delicious too. Well done, will come again.

The food is great but the haygine in this caffee is really bad.the cups are always dirty and they smell bad, the floor is disgusting, there is no airing in the place. The staff who wiped my table used a disgusting smelly wipe, this put me off. I would really appreciate if the manager looks into this matter and make immediate changes to the hygiene

We frequent sweet vanilla quite a bit. Staff very friendly. Food always amazing. Lots of yummy counter food. We ordered off the menu. Didn't have to wait long for our order. Pays to book in advance for table.

The keto eggs benedict was fantastic. The keto bread which they make really elevated the dish and gave it added texture. I'm also a fan of the GF passionfruit slice which was silky smooth and not too sweet. Happy customer and I'm definitely coming back.

Great wee café with amazing keto options, especially the sweet treats. Very popular and busy but got lucky getting a table on a Sunday morning. Good kids meal that is reasonably priced.

It was very, very busy on a normal Saturday morning as expected. Quite a small place so everything's tight. The pancakes were nice, and presentation was very interesting. Not the best I've ever had, but good flavours.

One of the best cafe's in lower hutt. Seating can be tight, and it can get noisy at times, but the food is always GREAT.

Always a pleasure to visit. I've never had a sub standard meal here and the service is always great. Love that the menu changes with the seasons and the cake cabinet is always full of fab goodies! Best to book as they're busy.
