Thai Lagoon Restaurant

I love getting dinner at this Thai restaurant very friendly, beautiful atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious it's very difficult to try anywhere else.

Great food, great service. The girl Samantha was a perfect waitress. I'll definitely be going back.

Table location by the window was way too hot. Had to pull the blinds then they kept hitting as we ate.

Dine in, as takeaway is often Dissapointing. They have a very busy kitchen now, which is providing inconsistent quality.

Amazing food and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They even brought out some special melamine cutlery and a cup for our two year old to use which made her night!

Some entries are quite nice. Main is ok. Desert mainly ice cream. Good service with friendly staff. Better book in advance to get a table. You'd be surprised how busy it can be.

Table booked for 6.30 main meal arrived at about 8pm. Lot's of excuses. Shame food is good have been a supporter of this business for a long time. Tonight tested my loyalty

Good service, meals were brought out quickly. Food was OK but flavours were more geared toward kiwi tastes than authentic Thai.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. We had a large group and it was no problem for them to organise us and serve us efficiently. The food was just amazing, the curries were lovely and the combination meals are so tasty. We were just so impressed with the food and how nice the staff were. Nothing was to much hassle for them. What a wonderful place to eat

Nice atmospher and loved the stylish decoration. Staff were really welcoming and I really recomend to take advice from the lovely waitre who seems happy to assist you with ordering, if u never had a thai food before.
Food was spot on and service was great.

Owner needs to learn the law around alcohol supply. Wouldnt supply alcohol to a 21 year old with a parent in tow.

Overall nice restaurant with great service and staff. We had the spring roll, it’s okay, nothing special. We also ordered the yellow curry with combination meats and spicy noodle. Didn’t like the taste of the pork in curry but the curry sauce was superb. I would come back to try other dishes.

Went with two people who couldn't eat onions. Specifically asked to have no onions in the dishes. Both were served with large amounts of onion.

Other people in the party were vegetarian. The only dishes without oyster or fish sauce were plain rice or roti.

Was told my dish had rice included. No rice.

6 people in the party, not a single person even vaguely happy. Won't return.

Been a few years since we last went and will be many more before we go back. Ordered stir fry requesting no onions, came full of onions, vegetarian meals still come with fish sauce, apparently every dish has fish or oyster sauce because it gives the flavour which is not stated on the menu that we could find, the staff could not even say if the entree items had been anywhere near the fish sauces. Kiwi hot meal was more like 2 x kiwi hot so person could not eat the meal. So if you a vegetarian, vegan or have allergies this restaurant cannot and will not cater for your requirements.

I believe this is one of the best thai restaurants in Wellington region. Food taste is excellent! Service is quick. Good value for money.

Best pad thai ever. My favourite dish that Iv eaten 100s of times, in Thailand and NZ. Great service for 6, every one raved about flavours of food.
