The seating was great great and service/management was amazing. I popped in just before 9: 30 however still served me takeaway. Loved the food too

Complete rip off. Decent Taste but tiny curry portion. Size of each curry was even less than than half of what you get at any Indian restaurant. Won’t go unless have money to waste. Advice to management - improve the portion size!

Where do i start! (i never bother leaving reviews, the experience at this place was so bad, i couldn't NOT leave one)
1. Sorry, but firstly, one of the waiters was stinking.i think basic hygiene needs to be maintained.
2. Food was tasteless.i have been to heaps of indian restaurants around the world.this is the worst indian restaurant i have ever been to so far in my entire life.
3. Chicken biryani- the worst biryani by far in my life again (i have tasted a few bad ones but this one tops it all.don't think you could call it biryani actually)
4. Butter chicken-what do i say.few pieces of bland chicken drowing in sweet ketchup - that is what we got served
5. Ordered spice level-"hot"- what did we get- saltless bland food
6. Service- staff did not seem welcoming at all. (i do understand-it was busy but c'mon when you have people who are there to pay for your food.at least a friendly smile would be nice)
7. Overall experience- really really bad.the worst $80 spent in my life.wish i had gone somewhere else.

Nice place for lunch. Pretty cheap and tastes good. More waiting staff would be good but I think it was just quiet when we went.

Friendliness - Booked a voucher online, turned up on a sunday night - very quiet, with seats a plenty. I told them I had a voucher and they said next please book a table.

Service - We sat down and waited a very long time to order as there was only one person on the floor and he was talking to someone at the counter for a long time. He didn't offer us to get drinks first but gave us water.

Food- There was a bug in the steamed rice.
Prawn masala - prawns still had the tails on which is a little messy having to pull them off as they are in a curry. Very sweet dish.
Chicken tikka masala was great, garlic naan was great, nil complaints to those.
More rice would be appreciated rather than one bowl to share between two people

Cleanliness - There were flies that kept bothering around the table.
Would not dine here again sadly. Maybe I'd get take away next time.

We totally enjoyed our lunch on the run. Our meals were yummy, and along with the Naan bread and rice, was more than ample for the two of us. We were warmly greeted on arrival and were seated and served quickly. Our waiter was extremely efficient and overall, was a very pleasant dining experience. The reviews are mixed for this restaurant so I guess we got lucky and caught them on a good day.

Do not recommend. The food was tasteless, over priced and small portions. The staff was playing on their phones all the time. I understand now why we were the only people in the restaurant and why they also have specials advertised everywhere. Stay away

Used to love this place so much and ate here quite often last year. The staff used to be so friendly and the food used to be really good too but I went yesterday and I've decided never to go back again. The portion sizes have halved, the taste is completely gone. Out of my entire meal, all I enjoyed was the lemon lime and bitters drink. I order Malai Kofta and Garlic naan, and the drink. Everytime before this visit, they would let me upgrade my naan without charge if I cancelled the rice and the waiter refused to do so this time or even to check with a superior if it was a thing. They charged us a dollar for a tiny little plastic container for takeaway of leftovers, which has never happened before, and the container was clearly not even worth more than 20 cents. While paying for my meal at the counter, I offered some friendly feedback on how I felt that restaurant had changed since the last time I'd been there and the waiter became absolutely defensive and started arguing about how their rice and naan is complementary and the meal price was only for the curry and the containers are so expensive and how their food is cheaper than elsewhere. I honestly disagree because the the tiny little dish that cost me 9 dollars wasn't even worth it. Next time, I'm just gonna take a walk further along cuba and pick a different restaurant. I just told him that I'm just trying to give constructive feedback and whether he takes it and improves his restaurant or not is up to him cuz like I said, I'm never going back there again.

I don't normally eat Indian food because of past experiences. But I loved it good food, good service and nice decorations. Well done and a big thank you to Chef Harry.

I came in with a couple of friends for a quick lunch and catch up. Overall not a great experience. The place had no atmosphere, there was no music and it was really dark. Our server was rude and argumentative. Portion sizes, especially seeing as our server told us the rice and naan were complimentary so all we were paying for was the curry itself, were very very small.
Really sad because this was my friend's go-to restaurant and we've all been really put off. Will not be returning.

Does not taste like real curry but if you're ravenous or looking for something quick and affordable for lunch while you're enjoying an outdoors event nearby then their takeaways could be acceptable as a convenient and practical tradeoff.

We found the service respectful but we were not dining inside their premise so cannot vouch for that. (The public is getting quite savvy as discerning diners, what with globalised travel and international cuisine exposure so higher expectations of cuisine authenticity will likely be encountered. And that is a good thing for the industry.)

Wonderful experience.
Service 10/10
Very fast service despite being busy.
Wonderful mains and sides.
Also quite affordable considering the quality and quantity of food provided!

Ordered a medium butter chicken curry and I got “tomato soup” with only a few chicken pieces good enough to feed a 2 year old.nothing medium about this. Will NEVER return or recommend. Waste of my money!

We visited Tulsi mid week and it was surprisingly busy, and many takeaway orders being placed and picked up. We ordered a biryani and tika masala with accompanying bread and raita. The food was not quite what we expected to see, flavors can differ from location to location - this one didn't quite fit our tastebuds, but a friendly and pleasant location.

Worst Indian food we have ever eaten! We ordered a butter chicken, all we could taste was a sweet tomato paste. The prawn vindaloo was tasteless and despite being a seafood item; there was no salt in the dish. Would not recommend this place to anyone! Stay away!

If you are after a tasty and authentic Indian style curry then perhaps look elsewhere.
The curries on offer here are surprisingly bland and flavourless, you are probably better off buying a jar of Patak's and making it yourself at home. It will certainly be cheaper!

Good value for money at this centrally located restaurant. The staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable and the food tastes great. Caters well for vegetarians too ️
