Verve Cafe

Food was really good, had eggs bene and kitchen team smashed it out of the park. One of the front of house team was a little frosty at a relish request to go with a side of sausages though. Not sure why.

Friendly staff, but system was odd and they forgot my coffee. When I got it, the coffee was good.

I go to Verve for a croissant and coffee at least once every time I'm in Wellington- the cabinet food and coffee are so good.
Although the regular coffee size seems to have shrunk.

My favourite cafe serving excellent coffee to start the day and good value breakfasts. Good place to meet if you want to be heard. Has many loyal customers which says a lot about the friendly staff and quality of food and beverages. The decor is a bit tired but don't let that put you off.

This cafe is way bigger than it looks from the street. Friendly staff and good wholesome meals. I had the vege breakfast and it was delicious.

But why would any establishment serve latte in anything other than a cup with a handle? Trying to pick up a glass with hot liquid in it makes no sense

Excellent location for lunch. Good selection of food and coffee. The burger was excellent and the seafood chowder very creamy and tasty. The buttered and toasted bread stick was a nice addition.

Spacious inner city cafe located just off Lambton Quay in Wellington's CBD. The cafe has a relaxed and refined atmosphere. They provided good food and drink options. The food is more on the expensive side, but not surprisingly so, given the location. The service was good. I would recommend to others and would be happy to go there again.

I always really enjoy eating at Verve, the atmosphere is lovely, the food is tasty, and I really appreciate the on-tap, complimentary chilled water. It's not too noisey and the large tables make laptop use comfy and easy if needed. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Nice place to go for Italian. Serving portions r just right. Ambience is good, staff is prompt.

Ordered 1 tea and one coffee. Waitress brought coffee out with her fingers on the rim of the cup. Tea was brought out nearly 10mins after coffee - no smile or apology. It's the little things that people notice!

The burgers are really good. They have large milkshakes.

We got the hash thing for breakfast and it had a centimetre of oil at the bottom of the plate. Wasn't ideal.

Please give me the playlist that is played in the store. Yummy food. Wonderful staff.perfect place to start before hard day of work.

This is my go to cafe for lunch, I usually order the same sorts of food depending on the weather. I especially like their hot chocolates, eggs benedict, and their filos.

They are always friendly and efficient, their food has always been good. They are willing to make accommodations for food based on preferences, as long as the food wasn't prepared in advance.

It's always pretty busy when I'm there, but we rarely struggle to find somewhere to sit, even if it means sharing a long table with other people.

Made a custom order for lunch, portions were so tiny, pretty average tasting for the cost & was supposed to come with poached eggs but didn't. By the time they came it would have been great to have something to eat with the eggs.sad

It always delivers as in food great staff ambience and I love the water tap plain or my favorite sparkling.

Would recommend! Been here who knows how many times over the last month! Definitely one of my favourite cafes. The atmosphere is nice and it is one of my favourite places to hang out at during lunch breaks. Really encompasses the city food vibe. Prices are reasonable, especially the lasagne with side salad, it is a big meal which restaurants could easily charge for $20 and at verve only $12. Love the photos of the rockstars on the wall! The whole vibe and food and drinks are awesome! Keep up the great work:)

Always great service, good food and central location. Free WiFi too! A regular spot of mine to work when I need to get away from the office
