DP1 Cafe

Stumbled across this cafe for first time today. Lovely service coffee and food. Also dog friendly too which fot us just nicely. Looks to be the place locals go to catchup. Highly recommend

Great vege curry wrap and coffee. Served by a very pleasant woman. Love that dogs are allowed in! I was greeted by a very cute, long-haired Jack Russell.

Great coffee! And also the only place I know that sells peeled hard boiled eggs with paprika salt and freah herbs. Yum!

Quirky reasonably priced cafe within walking distance of the train station. Stopped by for lunch before getting on the train, was greeted by a lovely friendly lady at the counter, seated in a really fun and quirky seating area and served absolutely delicious food! Got the vegan burger and was probably the best vegan burger I've ever had! Will definitely go back if we're back in town and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a bite to eat within walking distance of the train station.

Fabulous coffee, friendly service and yummy food. 100% would come again. Definitely the best coffee I've had in a while. We ended up having a coffee and then taking another coffee for takeaway. Fantastic!

Amazing cafe. I love all the colors, the happiness and the serenity that emanates from this place! Clean toilets, fast internet, stern but pleasant staff. Unfortunately their outlets do not work though!

Although this doesn’t seem the least bit inspiring as you approach the cafe it is good, serving pleasant coffee and teas.

Delicious food in a cafe with a quirky, cool atmosphere. Great vegan wrap with a superb chai latte!

Honestly the best croissant I have ever had. Fresh eggs and frantic coffee (both hot and iced!)

It's a shame I can't come here for breakfast everyday. An absolute gem of a spot.

Wifi: 7mbps down, 9mbps up. Seemed reliable for the hour or so I was using it.
Most of the outlets didn't work.
Formica tabletops and kind of an interesting vibe. I liked the artwork.

Took shelter in DP1 on a rainy day and had a great coffee and date scone. It's a quirky place, exposed concrete floors and formica style tables and retro decor which looked cool. Staff were friendly and I was even warmly greeted by some chatty locals which was a nice surprise! You don't get that in many other places. If you want a decent coffee and something good to eat, definitely stop by DP1 in Greymouth

The young FOH lady was rude, cold and very arrogant as if being inconvenienced by our table of 6 arriving as a walk in. Two decades in hospitality and visiting establishments around Nz and the world. I found her attitude that of a entitled unhelpful brat. Absolutely appalling as first person meet greet and seat. We left as did not want to interrupt anymore of her tic tok time. Avoid this joke of a place as lacks the fundamentals.

Such a quirky little cafe with plenty of vegan options. Was concerned with a lot of other reviews saying staff are rude but we were very happy to find that they definitely weren’t very kind and happy people! Will definitely be back:)

Went for breakfast, I'm dairy free and was really excited about the vegan cream cheese and pesto!
My son said it was the best breakfast he ever had because there was plenty of cream with the pancakes.
Delicious smoothies.
Coffee always good here too.
