23Traveling with friends. Stopped for lunch. Found a shady spot under a nearby tree. Ample parking, and plenty of room to turn around. Toilet facilities were nice and clean. Only downside there was no water to wash hands with.
Lovely place to stop over. Has toilets and just across the road from beach.
We did get bitten by black sand flies so take your repellent etc

So much to see and do.rich in history from the Brighton mining day's.check out the Rusty cup Cafe, and hidden caves
Nice place to stop for a rest great beach for surfing but careful if you drive on the sand you will bog in

To find cave, find the old wooden bridge, kinda next to the modern road bridge. Cave is on other side of river.
Great spot with clean flush toilets. No water or dump station. Andrew camp custodian is a hoot and runs a coffee cart in the morning with huge pancakes with Banana and bacon

The track to the cave after several years still has a closed notice, that everyone ignores.
The carpark and new long drop toilet block is great. But the septic drainage field stinks.
Great wee spot with very clean long drop. Local council guy Andrew is also the Rusty Mug coffee man. Great coffee n pancakes. His dog is cool too.
Very nice campsite with morning coffee&pancakes cart, sunday market and a beautiful walk thru bush and river kanyon. Just amazing!
So cool! We could not spend so much time due to the weather but still loved it. The cave was amazing. Really short walk from where we parked our car.
Market day Sunday same stall holders that were at Westport festival on Saturday. Nice hot chocolate at Wild Cat coffee cart despite wet weather.
Lovely little campsite.the toilet is a long drop not flushing one but was clean and smell was not bad like some long drops, but bring a spray anyway incase.tents and self contained vehicles permissable.the park ranger came and checked on us.i was parked in a self contained vehicle on a parking spot up the road but she suggested i move to the camp ground. Make sure to clean up after yourself and leave the place in the same state as when you arrived. Happy camping!
Tolle Freedom-Camping Area direkt an Meer und Fluss. Der Parkplatz und die Toiletten sind sehr gepflegt. Das allerbeste waren die Bacon-Banana Pancakes aus dem Verkaufsstand am morgen. Super lecker und eine riesige Portion für 10NZ$!
It's a car park with some drop down toilets. The market was a surprise in the morning, but they don't have anything really interesting to sell.
Beautiful spot where the Fox River meets the ocean. There is a lovely market there on Sundays during summer months. Andrew has the best coffee and cake. Music happening food and many crafty stalls. Great day
This rating is for the farmers market that is here on Sunday morning. Though the market is small it has a lot of great baked goods and coffee. A really nice event with a chance to meet the locals.
