Small town coffee shop in Westport. The food wasn’t bad but it was definitely not the best food I have ever had. Not many vegan options. I’ll most likely not be coming back.

The best coffee that I've had in NZ and the big breakfast was great too.
They had a fabulous selection of baked goods in the counter cabinet look so good that i wished i was still there for lunch.

I was really impressed to find a delicious vegan breakfast in Westport, kudos for having this on your menu and making it well. I don't often care for polenta but this one was super tasty and made a great addition to the breakfast.

This mōrena finds me at #jscafe Westport. What a lovely place, big and lots off room, outdoor seating as well.

Service was outstanding and the kai and kāwhe just as ka pai along with the smoothie and juice.

Definitely a place to call at anytime for delicious kai and ka pai kāwhe.

I had a fabulous mochachino.
And a basket of lovely crunchy hot chips.
Great service.

This is a spacious Cafe, good food and service. However, $6 for an Americano coffee in a small tumbler did little to revive my enthusiasm.

We stopped here as our first proper feed after finishing the Old Ghost Road and oh my, was it worth it, we both had the Eggs Bene and it was prob the best we've had, my partner even passed on her compliments to the ladies cooking this exceptional plate of yumminess, add great service at the counter, exactly what a café should be like. Cheers Guys

Such lovely service! I had the Works Benne for 20.00. The eggs were perfectly cooked, not see through and not over done. The bacon was crunchy and everything else was perfect! The French toast was wonderful, although my brother had ordered without cream cheese and I thought this would have brung such a lovely texture and flavour to the dish! Otherwise it was another 10 out of 10! Coffee beans were wonderful as well!

Its okay but the tables are always 'sticky' too the touch.need a good clean with jif ld say!

J's Cafe in Westport, NZ is awesome for breakfast, lunch, a snack, coffee etc.
Open from 7.30 am until 4pm.

Went there again this morning at 8am for breakfast, before coming back home to Christchurch and that man there is so helpful, even with me wanting just part of the big breakfast, bacon and tomatoes on toasted bread. So accommodating for my small appetite, so early in the morning.

My granddaughter went to Westport in March with me and after eating at a lot of cafes in Westport over the years, I have decided this is the cafe I will continue to eat at. Give it a try people.
