Waiho Hot Tubs

One of our favourite activity on the West Coast! Loved that it's very quiet and private. Awesome rainforest vibes. It was a perfectly spent hour on a very rainy day and it was a relief for our muscles after all the hiking.

Left feeling relaxed, and so nice to be greeted by Hitch at reception! Loved the Epsom bath salts (which are included if you camp at Orange Sheep, worth $10!). I recommend bringing your own Prosecco and wine glasses. The water is emptied and refreshed for every booking so it feels very clean, and the wood fire smell is lovely too. The staff are also super responsive over the phone - 10/10.

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a hot tub, and we are happy we did. Corbin was very accommodating, and took great care of us. We highly recommend booking a time slot after a day of activities, and make sure to get the Epsom salt and Lavender!

Excellent experience and great staff, well worth it after a lengthy hike or drive to unwind.

Recommended! Very clean and private, we had a super relaxing hour in the HotTube. Right next to Orange Sheep Campground, not to be missed.

Marvelous! Beautiful setting for the hot tubs between the ferns. We felt also very private and the whole experience was just beautiful and relaxing.

Pleasant, clean, relaxing small hot tub in secluded rainforest. 4 of us able to relax in our private tub. Changing bathrooms and shower were private and available. Nice to enjoy after a morning hike!

We absolutely loved our hot tub experience! Just what we needed after a long hike, to soothe our aching legs. The cold shower in the centre of the pools is genius!

This was an amazing experience. Soaking in an ember-heated hot tub in your own private mini-rainforest setting, with surrounding birdsong. Only downside is that we had to bring our own wine, which is no biggie since the supermaket is practically right around the corner. I recommend this to everyone and all.

Fantastic relaxing evening after a long drive from Nelson! The tubs were lovely and hot, clean and tucked away in a quiet leafy spot.

What a lovely experience. Despite the torrential rain, our hot tub was covered with an umbrella so we were mostly sheltered. The perfect way to relax after a long day of driving. Friendly staff and all needs were considered. This is a must do in Franz Josef.

My husband and I had a lovely relaxing time in the tub. Very private with a changing shed in with your tub, so very discrete. Would definitely recommend.

We were rained out of our heli hike and it was pouring rain! Went here to kill a few hours before we checked into our hotel! Beautiful, relaxing, very enjoyable!

Wow just wow.this place is amazing such a friendly lady showed us to the hot pools showed us how to use it gave us a towel and left us to it so private surrounded by vegetation and a wee changing shed wee also had cold water and some lollies. It's a must do so relaxing.

Clean, well maintained with beautifully made tubs, each in a private area. Staff is courteous, helpful, and polite.
