Baduzzi is a great Italian place down in the Wynyard Quarter. The service is first rate & the food is first rate too. Four of us went there last weekend. Three of us had the lamb & it was superb. Cooked & presented to perfection. I enjoyed my Tiramisu. Beautiful. Well done team!

Amazing restaurant.food and drinks are very tasty, the wood fired meet have the amazing smoke taste. The service is perfect as well, very nice and with very good advice.

It is obvious from the previous reviews that they change the menu regularly and therefore did not provide Yelpers with a detailed description of our meals, but it is highly recommended to make wine recommendations to the waiters because they are eager to find suitable food for everyone.

Our party of 13 had the set menu.

We were thoroughly imptessed with all the dishes. The food was top quality, the chefs certainly.know how to cook very special food.

We will certainly return as a couple. Excelkent.

This is not a cheap place but was totally worth it. Delicious tastes and good service. Will be back after the lockdown.

2nd time here and this place rocks. Love the food and atmosphere. But mostly great service from the friendly waitstaff. A+

It's an Italian style restaurant, but they insist on playing club music that makes conversation difficult, and after an hour my throat was raspy from trying to make myself heard. Even the wait staff found it difficult to hear orders. Try some Dean Martin or Puccini as background music. It could have been a nice time. But no!

The menu does a horrible job of explaining what the meals are, its extremely overpriced for the quality and taste of the food. Waiting time is not too long even on a saturday night, and the wait staff are friendly. Next time you plan on eating Italian cuisine, avoid baduzzi.

Right from the outset when I initially emailed about making a booking Marika looked after us. She also was our server for the evening, she was friendly and knowledgeable. Made great recommendations about dishes and the wine list, joined in on our jokes and genuinely helped us have a fantastic time.

Great Italian on the waterfront. Friendly staff and great steak. Would of loved a glass NZ red wine. Cosey atmosphere. Will go again.

Being a vegetarian, I had lot of options to choose from, which I didn't expect. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed dinner or a long lunch!

One of the best meals we've had in a while! Everything was spectacular - our entrees were incredible (the vegetarian meatballs and another one with aubergine and cheese on flat bread), as were our mains and desserts (the chocolate cake with raspberries and coconut was mind-blowing). They've also got vegan, dairy-free and gluten free menus. We would absolutely return here and could not recommend it more!

Baduzzi. Vibrant. Cold. Winter. Summer. Baduzzi is anything you want, but not exactly what you expect. Tiramisu wasn't Tiramisu but was still good. Food size needs to be bigger for the price. It didn't bedazzle me, but it did baduzzi me.

Delicious food with strong flavours all round especially the meatballs. The duck pasta was full of flavour and the pasta itself perfectly cooked. Baduzzi tap beer was excellent as was the service. Friendly, quick and unobtrusive. Nice light, open location. Maybe a bit out of the way to get there but worth the effort.

Delicious meals had by everyone. Lovely service by all. Vegan food exceeded my expectations and was fantastic value.
