Baduzzi reviews
76Great food! Meatballs and baby chicken we're unforgettable. The wait however was quite lengthy, as it took a while for the food to start coming out.
Try their crayfish meatball. Don’t get disappointed with the portion size, Baduzzi is fabulous because it is not one of those food joints that try to impress you with quantity, their food shows restraint and delivers quality. Their tiramisu, ohh so good - the bomb!
Fine dining here so don't complain of portion size.
Quality of food is amazing!
The smell of the kitchen draws you in from the streets.
Service was top notch.
Once in a while is fine for a commoner like me, prices makes you go ouch lol
Anyway, amazing experience.
Very average after past experiences, the meat platter was ridiculous, at $36.50, and maybe five pieces of Italian meats, if that, bread and a few picked veges, sooo disappointing. Meatballs nice but over all too expensive for something I consider very average. Such a shame as it was a fav. Certainly won’t be rushing back.
Meatballs are to die for, really superb meal and excellent service. Bit on the expensive side but really good meal.
I love this place, wonderful fresh pasta, and great dishes to share with friends. The large snapper filled tortellini and duck pasta are amazing. And the service is very friendly and professional, it was all too easy to have a fantastic time.
Pretty under rated in my opinion. It's not cheap but not expensive either. It's a solid option if want a good place for all occasions. The Tiramisu is AMAZING.
The duck pasta dish wash amazing. The iron flat steak was okay. Service was excellent. The place is busy so be prepared to wait for a seat on Saturday. It's likely to be the same on Friday.
We went as a group so had the $85 set menu, the food was nice, but the portion size was terribly small. 4 people sharing small dishes was just annoying. And dessert was just a joke, something the size of a cup between 4 people was about a spoon full each.
Cocktails were underwhelming too.
Also like to thank them for putting us right next to the kitchen, the added noise and heat made for a wonderful night.
Two stars as the food tho tiny and inconsistent sized portions across the table, was nice.
Good Italian restaurant. I personally was not amazed by the meatballs, but the Beetroot parpadelle was insanely good! Recommend and will come back for sure to try the rest of the menu.
Great food and amazing hospitality. A big shoutout to a new host from Italy. Made our experience worthwhile. We are vegetarians so they also prepared something off the menu on request. Very courteous.
Bound to please the most demanding of tastebuds. Each bite provides a mouthful of comfort/flavor. Got a pretty good portion size for a relatively cheap price. Spent the evening here and would probably come back.
Really nice food and service is second to none. Only issue is food comes in threes so if u have four people u need to add a serving which makes it expensive. But in saying that very very yummy. Edited. Opps was meant to be 4. Sorry for that
A lunch at Baduzzi in Wynyard Quarter welcomes Spring into season. The restaurant is very impressive with interior stylings of industrial chic meets urban hanging garden.
We ordered the wood fired king prawn, Hapuka bolognese with crayfish creme fettuccine and a radicchio candied walnut salad, lamb meatballs with buttered pasta and all of our dishes were exquisite and divine, washed down with a glass of Italian red and San Pellegrino. Excellent food and wonderful service!
Delicious food, although insanely overpriced. $20 for the cappelletti, and it's only a portion of 4 small bites. But still, very tasty nonetheless.
There were no complaints from the five of us. Everything was delicious. Certainly one of Auckland's top restaurants.
