Caltex - Sylvia Park

Worst petrol station ever. Literally went their to test my perception. Went through entire transaction with not a word said or smile given and this is every visit. Avoid this place if you can. Use your money elsewhere. Place has a serious problem.

The app was having a hiccup when I tried to pay petrol online. It was sorted moments after 3 attempts

Ideal spot close to the motorway for grabbing some last minute items like fuel and hot food & drink to start your working day

Very sad bad customer service.
Went to swap gas bottle Today and man at station informed that I m working alone by self so not able to swap gas bottle.
Understand sort of staff but you can not refuse customer. I ask can I wait for 10 minutes then he said sorry.
Losing good customer.

If you don’t care about customer service then the price is better than most within Central Auckland. I used to fill up here every other week (if not every week), but have rarely gone back (even though I only love 2 blocks away) for approx 6 months due to absolutely appalling service. I went back tonight as I’m low on petrol after my long weekend away but after a brief encounter with the female attendant, I simply drove away. Won’t be going back any time soon.

Excellent spot to gas up, clean the car or rescue injured seagulls ;-) We managed to save one from certain vehicular squashment recently by guiding him over to the car wash and scooping him up, zooming him to the vet. Great outcome - he's in the sanctuary, getting better. Nothing to do with Caltex really, but shows how well placed they are: -D

I come here for complaint the lady staff.the first time I go to refuel my car. I said pertol 91 and 50 dollars and then I use my phone starting search my caltex app. She hold very bad attitudes and no patience said you should open your app first and then come to here!

Second time is yesterday 11.15pm. I said 91,50 dollars, I give her cash first and then show to her my app.she told me she already make the order and cannot change. I wanna say all the staff will ask me do you have discount card.but she didnt. I said can you cancel and do it again.she said she cant. I said fine.can you cancel my order, I dont want refuel my car. Finally she cancel my order and I took my money go to Mobil.
I wanna say even my families and my friends they also know this lady staff who always keep bad attitudes. I think thats not right attitudes as a service work.so I write this complaint when I met she still like before.
To be honest we will chose mobil if she still hold bad attitudes.

Their sign displaying fuel prices has been out for more than a week. I don't like surprises when I want to fill up

Cashier Lady parmjit, don’t know how to talk with customers and showing attitude. No customer service. Don’t know why companies hire these kind of people… zero star

Very disappointed went to fill up thus moring and git told that the pumps where on pre pay only and I had to give a amount on how much it was going to coast to full up my diesel ute which changes every week depending on the traveling I need to do in my eyes very sad

Would not recommend at all. Cashier rubbing his nose and snot with his gloved hands then putting the same gloved hands on the items i was purchasing. Not cool

Very bad service, recommend to avoid. Have visited this service station for years and no prior issues but there seems be a new staff member working there now who was very rude and refused to allow prepay on the pump in the early evening. Wont be returning.

Great location but very disappointing customer service. There were 3 staff members on duty who were busy gossiping each other which is very annoying as I indicated I have enquiries about the product and no one seem to be interested to attend and help: (

Hi there, I’ve been using this Caltex for a while and never had any issues. It is usually a good service and a reasonable price. However, it has changed today in terms of customer service. The ‘new/old guy was absolutely rude to me and to another customer when it comes to the payment method (Pre pay/after pay). I am writing this review in order to get in touch with the manager of the station due to unacceptable behaviour of the cashier.

One of the places with cheaper fuel. It is conveniently located just outside the Sylvia Park mall so you can access it from the internal road or from Mt Wellington highway. It looks like you aren't able to turn right onto Mt Wellington Highway but you can go around the back tot he stoplights by Buger King.

That Caltex is the worse their staff is so rude. I’ve seen some of the staff get yelled at before and I get it! They deserve it their service is trash and they make you feel annoyed when you leave

Incredibly rude staff member this evening with absolutely no customer service. Did not end up fuelling my car, I drove to the Z station further down the road. Will not be refuelling at Caltex Sylvia Park!

The (male) attendent was deliberately physically inappropriate in front of me. Not much detail needed here but needless to say, will never go back.

Rang Caltex who said they'd get back to me and never did.

I am a regular customer to this station & I pump once or even twice weekly (I have 2 cars). All the attendants especially in the morning (8-9am) are very nice, polite & accomodating. They allow "fill-up". I thought this station was the best until yesterday (Feb 07, ~4pm+) the only one attendant will not allow me to do fill-up & instead insisted me to be do pre-pay any amount.

I argued but he still insisted. I left the station to avoid heated conversation.

Attendants at the till have very poor customer service. Do not know how to smile and say thank you. Manners are rude. They need customer service seminar. They are very mechanical. They would just ask the customers if they are presented the air points or fly buys " stock? Or discount? " and just take your money without gestures of politeness and graceful manners. We know that it is a prepay pump but if you want to fill up, of course you would not know how much to fill up but the attendant especially the young man with curly hair would insist you pay first. If you tell him you'd pay after you had filled up he would still insist you pay first no matter how much it is. The young man does not have listening ears.
