Amazing hidden gem in the center of Auckland. Love this place - we went two nights in a row.

Unbalanced drinks, friendly but slow and inadequate service. Drinks for my table took 15 minutes+ to come out. Gave them a 3rd shot as my friends insisted but met the same problems like previous time. All left disappointed

Honestly, have been here before and absolutely loved it, have since recommended this bar to multiple of my friends. I returned with some of my colleagues, out celebrating my coworker and friends late 21st birthday and had some of the worst service I've ever received.first our friend was from France who had never been to a speakeasy bar so we were very excited to show them a classy joint with great service and got exactly the opposite.
Immediately after being greeted we were told our party of 7 had to be seated at two separate tables directly next to each other and when we asked if we could push tables together (which would not have obstructed any walkways etc) we were told no without any explanation. Rather than arguing we sat down and waited until a larger table opened up. The first round of drinks we didn't have to wait too long, however our friends on the table next to us probably waited an extra 10-15 minutes for their drinks despite ordering at the same time. After we finished our drinks had to wait another 20-25 to order a second round. A larger table then opened up and one of our friends got up to ask if we could move there so we could all converse with each other more freely. After moving we all got our second round, drank and then proceeded to wait 45 minutes to order another round. All of the tables around us were served and we had even grouped the empty drinks in the middle to show we were ready for another round. After reaching the 45 minute mark we got up and went to pay. Having spent over $300 already we would have thought our group would have been given a little more attention. When we went up to pay we again had to wait until our friend said to one of the waiters standing at the bar waiting for drinks to be made (that hadn't all even been shaken yet) if we could pay. He proceeded to say "We're really busy, but I guess I can. " We understand busy hospo venues (our whole group works in hospitality as bartenders and waitstaff) but as a venue that fits 40 people max and on a Monday at 9pm the attitude we received and the clear refusal to serve our table put a real dampener on our night out. We saw both the waiters standing at the bar doing nothing, even shaking a bottle of one of the bar ingredients on the other side of the bar when we were waiting to be served. Really disappointed, and aligns with some of the rumors we had heard about staff changing and the service become really lackluster. Super disappointing.

Place was awesome. Cocktails great and a fun experience. Only thing I would suggest is that they come back and offer a second round/attempt at cocktails. We sat with empty glasses for a while before deciding it was time to leave.

Fun drink mixes, servers design your mixer/coctail based on your alcohol perferenes, a fun vibe with an old school/classic atmostphere. Great place to have fun and experiment with some yummy new flavors!

Excellent cocktail bar in the city and you feel like you escape when you come here. Staff are friendly and try to custom drinks to your flavour which makes a change from choosing on a menu. Ambience and atmosphere are fantastic. Worth a visit.

Everything here is up to an excellent standard. Staff will give you an immediate lasting impression that sets up the rest of the night. Mocktails reasonably priced too at $10. Had a memorable night here and would happily return again anytime.

Amazing underground cocktail bar. Staff are charming and able to whip up spectacular drinks to your taste. Shoutout to Mitch for the stellar drinks.

Amazing venue and experience in Auckland. Well worth the hour wait on a Saturday night. Our waiter was great and nailed the cocktail choices.

My fav lil cocktail bar. What can I say, the vibes are are INCREDIBLE! ️ Always bringing friends that have never been! Their cheese boards are pretty bloody incredible too!

Went in here for a pre dinner cocktail, but apart from the friendly staff, and atmosphere the service was terrible. We were seated and ordered cocktails after the waitress came over about ten mins later but after another half an hour later we had still no cocktails. Sorry but its not good service as they never even came over to explain any delay.

Cool moody underground cocktail bar. The staff have a conversation with you to understand your flavour preferences and then return with a custom made cocktail. Great place to meet before a dinner date.

A unique experience as the bartenders individualize your drinks according to what flavour profiles and types of spirits you enjoy. There’s live music on Sundays-Tuesdays so would recommend those days.

The staff amaze me every time I stop in with their knowledge and service. Drinks are immaculate and next level delicious. A must visit every time im in Auckland

Absolutely love this place.in every way. It's hidden and mysterious, the cocktails taylor made and devine. My favorite place to go with friends for a unique atmosphere and experience.
