Coco's Cantina reviews
77Food was yummy. Loved the lamb ragu. My friend had the mint and pea ravioli which wss beautiful. Service was good. The sangria was not great.
Delicious food! Very quirky decor and lovely attentive staff. A great place for those with dietary requirements as they're very happy to accommodate.
Wonderful food, service as always was outstanding and welcoming. Save room for dessert, their tarts are almost as good as their polenta chips.
Had to try this place as its always a popular venue.
In short great atmosphere, small portions, the spaghetti & meatballs was very basic and lacking taste, more what expected of a food hall, the Lamb Ragu was a little better and Eggplant was best meal of the evening and I would have that again.
Staff pleasant.
Our food was delicious the wine was wonderful and the service was impeccable. A lovely experience. Would definitely recommend for a romantic evening. We regularly dine out at a variety of local restaurants throughout Cairns and surrounding area. We have eclectic tastes and like to eat varied cultural quizines. We have dined at Linga Longa International on a weekly to fortnightly basis for quite some time
Fabulous dinner here. I had the Char Grilled organic sirloin, black pepper butter hand cut chips and rocket, which was very nice indeed.
Relentlessly delicious and innovative, cocos cantina had grown in leaps and bounds but remains a bastion of innovative Italian food. People at an outside table is a bonus on long summer evenings. Priced well above cheap and cheerful and worth every penny.
In this little piece of K-road you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to Italian food. The Cantina is wonderful Italian comfort food. Go for the ragu. Across the road you have Cotto - go for the ragu. Both great. Both tasty. Both with wonderful atmosphere. We did them both over two nights and if we couldn’t get into one we’d happily go to the other. You should too.
OH MY GOD. The ravioli here is to die for. A nice glass of vino in an Auckland sunset with friends and family, it really doesnt get any better!
The staff are really nice but the only vegan option on the menu was a zucchini pasta which without a doubt, it was the most tasteless thing I've ever had in my life. So disappointed
So if you're vegan, you might wanna try other restaurants.
Italian food with soul. Tasty food options, nice wine list and nice environment.
Always great service by their smiley and friendly staff.
Sunday evening roast at $25 is also very nice.
Great food and friendly staff. The restaurant itself it a bit small so wont be a good idea to go with a big group. I heard they have lunch specials so it might be worth to check it out.
Came on a tuesday night and while the ambience and staff were great the food was below average especially for that price and reputation. I ordered the scotch fillet and it was more burned than charred with bitter salsa Verde and others at the table also had lackluster meals. I probably wouldn't visit again though perhaps their main chef wasnt working since it was a Tuesday.
I’m kind of surprised that people were so positive about this place. The Staff was very friendly, but there was no point during the meal where the food seemed good. Focaccia was like normal bread with olive oil that some restaurants give you for free. The ravioli was sugary tasting and overloaded with cheese - I could only eat two before I started to feel nauseous and had to stop.
Awesome food, amazing value and the wait staff went above and beyond to make sure our large group was well taken care of.
Happy hour drinks good prices and a nice chill vibe with good service.
Ordered meatball main and it came with two massive meatballs. For 32$ I thought "these meatballs beter rock my $$%^ing world". And they did. So did the choc tart. 5 stars
Nice place. Quite abundant portions, however expensive for what you get. I have overall enjoyed the experience
Brilliant staffs and food as well Remend friends and family. I will come back here again. Yous Rock my world.
Always amazing. Best vibe. Great drinks. Delicious polenta chips. And our waitress Kira (sp?) renewed my faith in great service combining the perfect amount of sass with excellent professional product knowledge. Coco's
We can for the first time tonight, for our 5 year anniversary. Given we've just moved here from Melbourne, we were needing a new anniversary place – looks like we found it.xo
