Edwards & Hardy Roofing

They are grossly overpriced for what they do. I have a 2 bedroom place so have a small roof. They were going to charge me approx $350.00 to spray the roof for lichen treatment which only takes them 10 to spray. On top of that they even quoted for safety harness use. They used to be good and honest years ago, now they are RIP off merchants.

They came soon after we decided to hire them when the weather was still perfect. Contract & service to be provided very clear. Guys arrived ~ 30 min late but were friendly, professional & efficient. Email replies to queries don't seem to happen so just ring them

Don’t know if it has worked after 4 weeks of dry weather, think it will take a bit longer than that for results to become evident

I believe the roof was sprayed for control of algae etc for 1 year but I am certain the whole roof wasn't covered which makes it an expensive exercise if only parts are treated. I hope Im wrong!

I had 3 properties treated and asked for the reports etc to be emailed to me after several phone calls to the office I finally received the requested documents. As far as the roof treatment side of things went all was good.

Really polite professional tradespeople who came to do the job which was done promptly. Would use the firm again.

I asked for a time when the job was to be done.i never got it. They just did it.
I ve rung 3 times over the last 5 weeks.as there was still some dirt left over. Each time I was assured someone would contact me. I m still waiting! So not impressed!

Absolutely awful communication and response to queries.
Complete and utter lack of respect for the customer and it would seem, has no interest in procuring future business.

Could never in fairness recommend the co.pany to anyone.

Extremely poor communication with several staff members not returning calls as promised to resolve problems. Definitely cant recommend

I wouldn't know if my roof was done or not, there has been no
communication what so ever, no statement in my letter box, or
letter telling me that my roof has been done!

I have used Edwards and Hardy for over 10 years for roof maintenance. They always provide a great service and I can not recommend them highly enough.

This business rips people off. We had our roof sprayed with a cleaning solution a year ago and we waited the recommended timeframe and nothing changed. I contacted the company who robbed me off by saying the roof was damaged. If that was the case why did they take my money to have my roof sprayed clean. Never do business with this company.

I booked your services knowing I'll be paying more than I would with another company with the expectation of a higher standard of service. Communication from Edwards and Hardie was poor. I had to follow up a number of times to get updates. Once the job was finally booked in the workers did not turn up on the day due to bad weather. No one contacted me to tell me. When they came back the job was done poorly and not as quoted, your tradesmen had to come back to complete it. Bits of roof debris was left on scaffolding and driveway even after the second visit. I also noticed vermin mesh was removed and never reinstalled. Disappointing experience. Simon did come out twice to inspect the work and agreed he wasn't happy with the job. Appreciate the honesty there.

The work was done quickly and properly. There was considerable confusion around the timing of the work including a contractor ringing me the day after the job was done to tell me that he would be there in an hour to do the job.

The company has been servicing my roof since 1993 every 3 years always a great professional job and a very reasonable price.

Roof was professionally sprayed, however the driveway and concrete path was not sprayed as initially promised as part of the deal. Someone was going to check as to why it wasn’t done and call me back which I am still waiting and it’s over 2 weeks now.

The job was done while I was away from home and I did not get back for several weeks. I had thought the report given by the roofer would have been more comprehensive. Also I have solar panels on the roof (water and power) and one of the panels has stopped reporting. I am fairly sure something the roofer did has interfered with the function; and will report either way at a later stage.

My quote was to repoint all ridge caps and replace all mortar it looks good from the road But the back of theridgers has not been done. I only found this out when i go my gutters replaced, My roof was done 2years ago and now i have to get it done popoly Very bad job
