Incompetent staff and terrible customer service. DO NOT USE this company for any repairs, you will regret it!

They turn up late, don't do their job properly and don't follow through on their word, resulting in numerous unanswered emails and having to make multiple phone calls while still not resolving the issues.

From the technician who came to "fix" our dishwasher leaking and from all the higher level staff who we dealt with to try to remedy the situation, it was all bad. They barely looked at the dishwasher, then insisted on replacing a seal which we knew was not the source of the leaking and then funnily enough the leak wasn't fixed, wasted our time and money and were rude to deal with. Then we had to fight for a refund which they wouldn't do over the phone, said it was done via an email link, but then they email us confirming we can have a refund with no info on how to arrange the refund. Completely incompetent!

I have been charged a call out fee for an appliance that is no longer in production - and no spare parts are available. Had I known this, I would not have booked or would have cancelled the service!

I had sent the information of the model number during the online booking process, but was not aware that you could not fix it, until your technician turned up today. He has charged me for half the call out fee of $65.00 but I think this is very unfair as I had provided you with the model number during the time of booking.

That's $65 for telling me that he can't fix it. Pretty disappointed.

***Also, charging a call out fee PER appliance is pretty scummy. Does not make sense, as the appliances are all in ONE household!

Had an amazing experience with Pat and Linda when calling about our Fand P dishwasher.
They gave us all the support and more, that we could possibly expect, and in a friendly and professional manner.
They both reinforced why we remain loyal to F and P after over 40 years and will continue to do so.
Thanks to both women.

Worst service ever. I wish I had read the reviews earlier. What a waste of time and money to call out their technician to have a look at the Samsung smart wash washing machine for error code E: 702. According to their user manual this could be due to an open circuit and the amps needs to be tested but when technician came he only turned on the washing machine and turned on the empty machine on spin for 2 to 3 mins then on rinse for 2 to 3 mins and said the machine is working. Ofcourse I know that and it only shows error code and machine stops when goes onto spin with a load on. Did i really had to pay $129 for him to do that? Such an appalling service. Then he tried to make a few assumptions and said the motor seems to be overheating. It's no point in repairing, you better off with buying a new washing machine. I will go back to office and send a quote for new machine and installation

After having owned a DD605 for over 10 years and loving the convenience of a drawer style dishwasher I would love to write a positive review BUT I cannot. Fisher Paykel used to have their own maintenance and repair technicians and the ones I met were absolutely top notch and knew the product inside out but they have now outsourced maintenance and repair to those whose quality of work is abysmal. What really motivated me to write this review is the incredibly poor redesign of the cutlery basket 511417. Pictured on the left is the original cutlery basket and its replacement on the right. The issues are 1) non matching form factor 2) meaningless click on top piece 3) missing detergent dispenser sub section 4) flat top handle which remains wet after dishwasing cycle, note original well designed curved handle. 5) impossible to order original design anywhere eBay, amazon, Fisher paykel themselves.

I need to replace my Fisher and Paykel slide out rangehood that is built into my kitchen cabinets. They no longer supply my particular model to the public. After spending an hour and a half on the phone with them, I was told to find a commercial builder to order it. This process was time-consuming, frustrating, and not customer-focused. I wouldn't use this organisation's products ever again.

Utterly appalling; both the product and the customer "service".
If I could give ZERO stars, I would.

The same sheet of glass in our oven door has exploded twice.
This is a very loud, scary and messy experience that has left us without the use of an oven for a prolonged period each time.
I just feel lucky to have the skin on my face intact, given both times I was about to open the door to check on my baking.

The response from F&P has been pitiful.
Despite telling customers while waiting to speak to customer "service" that "your call is very important to us", I have sat on hold for hours.
Only to be put on hold again and then hung up upon.

After the first door exploded, the first person I spoke with actually laughed at me and scoffed at my suggestion that hot exploding glass poses a health and safety risk.
And do not bother even using their 'live chat' option as it is just a time drain and goes nowhere.

Now that they've replaced THE SAME piece of glass in this oven TWICE, their solution now is to replace THE SAME piece of glass for a third time!
Despite the technician who attended saying he didn't know why the oven door keeps exploding.

AVOID Fisher and Paykel.
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Not what F&P used to be, products come with scratches and marks on them from new, quality control on products are non-existent.

F&P seems like it's lost it unfortunately. I chose F&P when I re-fitted my kitchen 2 years ago but they've been painful. The customer service is shocking. Dishwasher has been out of action for nearly 3 MONTHS due to them needing a part that they obviously refuse to air freight in. Ironically, I drove past one of their service vans yesterday with 'here for the life of your appliance' written on the side, now see-through marketing spin.

Very disappointing - would not buy again or recommend.

If I can I would give 0 star.
Warning to everyone! Do not buy fridge from this company. Really bad quality and 2 years old fridge just start to leak water from the bottom. The funny thing is three technicians came but none of them could find the reason. My cupboard became so mouldy for long time but I didn’t know. This makes my families being so sick. They said they only pay $300 for my loss.
Also the customer services are really bad until I have the senior staff.
I would never come back to this company and I strongly recommend everyone just don’t buy the fridge from them.

Have had the same issue with the lady from fair go
Right from the start ripped and oily streaks residue on clothes, unbalanced etc.
Thee years later …. 5 techs doing different things like tightening belt, replacing Suspension rods and I’m told I should only do half loads warm water and do vinegar rinse after every wash?
Now today I’m told I have to do drum wash and complain to customer service because he didn’t have all the complaints on his screen. Yes, we both got heated but it’s been 3 years a few hundred in ruined clothes and every tech is calling me a lair!
I’ve read all the complaints and it’s not me at fault clearly! Sad

When our range hood exhaust stopped working, I called their technician (who charged us 100+ dollars) just to look at it and tell us that we need to replace it. They suggested a model for which we paid 1400$. When the product arrived, another two technicians came to our house and said that the product I ordered for is incorrect size. He said that I don't have to do anything from my side and it will be sorted out. After 3 weeks I called them to follow up, and they said they will figure it out and call us back. A lady them called me back two or three days later and she is telling ME that the product is the right size and she doesn't know what the problem is. ‍️. I suggested her to speak to that technician who came to our house, to which she replied that the very same guy didn't mention anything to her. It's been more than a month now and nothing is heard from them. What we have where we had the hood before is a big effing whole now. Oh! Did I mention that they changed the date of fitting the new rangehood without checking with me? !

I received the telescopic shelf for my oven in quick time, but I ordered the wrong part, silly me. After a great consultation with sales rep in the parts dept. (she may not want her name to appear here, but you now who I mean (K*N*) the courier collected the part and a new CORRECT part arrived this morning. Wow! What service. Many thanks again, parts dept, (K*N*)

Fisher and Paykel is not the company it once was.
We are in the process of receiving our third front loader washing machine. These last only 3 years and then the main bearings go. We will then be changing brands. The Technicians have all said they will only last this period on time when used daily.
Service has been poor. Pleasant on the phone, will take your money then unable to deliver stock on the agreed dates. Excuse after excuse. I would post no stars but have to post one to enable.

Bought a brand new top of the line F&P fridge 5.8 years ago and have looked after it very well. We were so happy with it that 6 months ago we bought all new Fisher & Paykel dishwasher (top of the line), oven (top of the line, 60cm cooktop (top of the line) and rangehood (also top of the line).

Now our fridge had died and will cost over $1200 to repair (gas leak /somewhere/ in the fridge)
Fisher & Paykel have refused to repair our fridge under the CGA or provide us with a replacement (they still sell that exact model!)

If they told us when we bought the Fridge that it wouldn’t even last 6 years we absolutely would not have bought it!

F&P (who are owned by a multi-billion global Chinese company) clearly don’t stand by their products and don’t care about customer loyalty

Do not recommend buying them.
Other brands like LG and Panasonic have a 10 year compressor warranty which is more than F&P

After failed attempts for repair and now being told it’s “normal” undoes all respect I had for the company after purchasing many products over many years. Not impressed!
Aftersales service is second to none.

Given up on our not so old F&P Fabric Smart 8kg Washing Machine, that is continually 'out of balance'. Spent a lot of time rebalancing the feet, but the problem continues. No more Fisher & Paykel products for this household!

Yikes. Cost me $178.25 for call-out that took literally 5 minutes Only to tell me they won’t fix it

Not to mention taking the day off to meet the engineer.

I hope you pay your employees a fair wage if your so happy to shaft your customers ‍️

Edit - Having seen the enormous amount of negative reviews, I’m not surprised. F&P clearly hate their customers.

Rubbish service. Engineer came out, told us our extractor fan was faulty and a technician would call us back to arrange replacement.no call back and F&P call centre stated that we needed to either pay for another visit to repair (which because of type of failure was not possible) or to ring someone else to buy a new one. Need to up your game on comms and internal processes F&P. We went elsewhere for better service!

Too many broken appliances
Washing machine electronics firmware software issues
Hob switch break
Fridge compresser leaks
Oven, glass breaks, not intuitive functions
Not to mention the terrible after sales service.
