Wanted to cancel a purchase made (due to length to time for delivery) cancel request was made less then 24hrs after initial purchase. I was advised that they won't refund for change of mind and was offered a store credit. This wasn't helpful as I'd found a similar furniture item that could be delivered asap at another store.

Pick up from DC Auckland was unexpectedly long. On invoice we have been given a time frame of 1week waiting for DC to contact us to arrange pick-up. It took them 2 weeks to contact us and when they did we were expecting to do pick-up next day or immediately however we had to wait another 3 days until we were able to do pick-up. Suggest that Freedom furniture adjust their advice on invoices since this is very unrealistic or check within their DC manager were is the problem.

I’ll be waiting 21 weeks now instead of the more reasonable 15-17 weeks after purchasing back in April 2021. Yay. Buy from a NZ company that makes their sofas here in NZ folks if you want your sofa in a timely manner….

A furniture store where everything is overpriced. Make sure that what you get is what you can use; because they won't give you any refund, only store credit - and it'll expire within 1 year! If you haven't use it within a year, you'll have to fight really hard to get it extended.

Excellent service! Doing incredibly well considering this industry is particularly under the pump during a global pandemic. The store manager at the Newmarket facility deserves an Oscar for the amount of customer demand required. Well done and keep up the great work.

Absolutely appalling service. Have been waiting for my orders for over three months, had to call multiple times well beyond their timeframe to follow up. Each time they 'will look it up and call back' with no call back ever. First order arrived late so they offered free delivery, but the products arrived broken. When I notified them of this they had the audacity to tell me that I need to drop it off and pick up the new products. Second order was well delayed, and once they said it had arrived the manager Katy said I would be contacted in 48 hours to book in a delivery time. Of course, they didn't contact me. When I followed up they said there was a false allocation and that there was actually no stock available. More than three months of waiting and ended up with nothing. Seems like they're blaming delays due to the pandemic to get away with their incompetency.

$4000 of furniture bought on 29 June. 7 weeks to deliver, they said. Its now been 11 weeks. No contact. No updates. No response to emails and phone messages. Even given the 2 week lockdown, the lack of contact is unacceptable.

Awful. I bought the mattress here on March 23, and it's been over 3 months and I still haven't received it. The way they serve customers is very bad. Never come back here again.

This Co.does not to sell stock on the shop floor, unfathomable. Apparently must wait 3 months for next shipment.but the product is sitting there with a price tag displayed!? I assumed most businesses want to sell stock.best of luck. Will look elsewhere, and won't go back

This store is a complete joke. From bad customer service to overpriced items and bad quality of product when delivered in flat packs. I have a tremendous amount of things to say about Freedom furniture particularly the Sylvia park store but i chose not to waste my breath. TO the general public. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM FREEDOM FURNITURE. Will save you a lot of head and heartache! Peace.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Asking for a full refund for a bed that’s not able to arrive for my wedding night and they’re not willing to give it. When I spoke to store manager and let her know that I need the money back to buy a replacement bed, since we need a new bed for wedding due to it being chinese traditions; but she was stern and not considerate or understanding about it at all. Especially when our purchase is within 30 days! Never shopping at freedom and def going to let all my friends and family know not to shop at freedom again. This kind of customer service is baffling.
If I could give 0 stars I would.

NO SYSTEM AT ALL
Has been waiting for 6 weeks for furnitures to be delivered. Worst part is no one can tell me when I can get my stuff. Literally we've spent over $7000 for new home furnitures. But we can't move in new home because of NO funitures!

Team are knowledgable, go out of the way just a shame the delivery is not great but that cant be helped and isn't the teams fault. Great store
