French Rendez-vous Restaurant

Perfect French cuisine! What a wonderful dining experience we had. The menu offers amazing French dishes which were extremely tasty and not forgetting the absolutely delicious dessert. This restaurant deserves 5 stars! Excellent!

Superb brunch experience for our group of 7. Food, coffee, staff, location, soft music all outstanding. All truly wonderful dishes 10/10

Worst place ever visited, my kids took me there for mothers day lunch would not recommend going there.
Manager on duty was so rude, she really need to be polite and get some customer service manners taught, never met anyone so rude in customer services before. We did mention to one of the waiters about her, other customers came to us told us how rude she was to them too. I go there quite often with friends and work colleague, but never again. Very disappointing as its local for me.

Most amazing restaurant and Cafe. Fantastic food, coffee and treats. Atmosphere is amazing and the service is excellent. Recommend this place to everyone I know.

Absolutely lovely. The food could not be faulted. The service was perfect, location delightful. I am now recommending to everyone I know. If you like quality delightful french cuisine, then do go. You will not be disappointed when you visit.

Expensive but less than average.went there because of reviews but was not impressed. Service was also very slow

Nice coffee and friendly staff. Parking is good with alternate parking options on road, off road on both sides of the establishment

1. We were 10mins late so our booked table outside was given to someone else. No phone call. Lead to a table inside on arrival, but finally given table outside on request.
2. Food well below expectations, based on previous experience here.under new management?
3. Profiterole hard and greasy, deep fried? Suggest chef does course in French cuisine.
4. Food presentation poor, maybe just a bad hair day
5. Wouldn’t go back here again

I would give this place 10 stars if I could, We have been here twice in the past couple weeks, food is probably some of the best I have had in Auckland, service is just as good and the location is awesome. I have been recommending this to everyone and I recommend it to you reading this. Go there. Now. You won't regret it.

It has everything; nice settings, perfect taste, excellent quality, inexpensive price, friendly hospitality, beautiful scenery and easy parking always available. No other place like this.

The location is amazing and just opposite the Lake. Good breakfast options but not much for vegetarians. Coffee and hot chocolate are good. The staff is friendly. They have a seating capacity to suit 2 to 24 people. Reservation is recommended as it's a small place and gets filled up. Value for money.

Beautiful food with a beautiful view. The beef bourguignon just melts in the mouth- it was so delicious. My 15 year old son had the Toulouse galette, which he loved. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely location on the lakeside. Spacious comfortable restaurant with French flair. Great selection of crepes. Fast and friendly service. Our crepes were brought to the table so quickly we were amazed!

5 star Crepes. Delicious. Coffee didn't match our order. Staff were friendly but inattentive.

We ordered 2 single shot lattes, and got a single shot flat white and a double shot cappuccino. We were left between drinks order and food order, until we ordered over the counter. Our empty plates were left on the table while we ran out of space to eat.

Second time coming here, and just as good as the first if not better. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The drinks were generous servings. And we'll priced.

My dad ordered a French toast which he declared was the worst one he's eaten, my Monaco cheese, egg and mushroom was ok but too much. The coffee was like medicine.
