Hi everyone, Moving from Auckland to Christchurch this with Grace Removal was the worst experience for me. As an NZ Citizen, I never ever have that kind of unprofessional service from anywhere.the team itself is not responsible for anything (Especially James Coul). I have talked so many time in regards to my stuff but have not got any realistic answer. I got my stuff 3 weeks after I arrive at Christchurch, However, they said you will get stuff in 3- 4 days. Definitely, I have lost my business due to their carelessness.

Furthermore, the funniest thing is, they have missed my big White Board. After notifying them still I have not received any call/ update from the team.this seems no one (the team) don't care to about your stuff. I don't know why/how they guys run the business.

I have tried to put the review on their Facebook Page but they have of the option. I think there are other people who might feed up with Grace removal.

Finally, I would say there is no value of the money. Thanks

I strongly recommend this service for removals. They are professional and value for money. Most importantly timely delivery. Simply adorable.

Grace Relocation were excellent in their work. My move from Auckland to Wellington was very well organised. Each person that I have interacted with was professional, friendly and genuine. Great care was taken by all. I will akways use them for relocation and recommend to my friends. Matthew Raines was genuine and hardworking person. He answered all questions and queries. I am so grateful to him and Grace relocation company. Thanks a lot.

Packing was timely and went very well although it was underestimated. Unpacking wasn’t as good with many boxes not placed in the designated room.

Consultant was excellent price to move reasonable for few things I had ti move, day of pickup day of move, went smoothly, then delivery date delayed by a few days due carrier bringing it from.auck to chch - then time and date of deliver to be at my sons place to store for a wk 10am thurs 3rd dec waited 2.5hrs no delivery contact auck told now 4th dec late afternoon waited no delivery at my.son place, got a call fri evening to say delivery sat not suitable as my.son not avail set time for mon 9am, mon got a call to say delivery put forward to 10am for reasons, mon 10.19am no delivery called chc delivery company told soon.they would arrive soon turned up at 11am at my sons place on.unlosding truck found box someone dropped my.pictures in not packed correctly 3 damaged disappointed all else delivered appeared ok but I will check when I unpack nxt week.
One hope's when they move all to go smoothly less stressful pickup and delivery and no breakages glad I took insurance on.my possessions during transit.
Thanku to the Consultant management Auckland were all helpful to try to resolve things for me on.delivery time.

Goods arrived mishandled, boxes missing, and got someone's else box of belongings - I emailed them to get it sorted, they just don't respond. Worst experience ever. Do not use this company.

Great service and really friendly guys! Rob and Bob were helpful and careful with all my furniture. Would recommend.

If you are thinking about using grace removals as your moving company, DONT DO IT! We had the worst experience moving from Brisbane to Auckland. Being assured time and time again that our items would arrive before us, when in fact we had to wait another month before any of our things did arrive, that was just the beginning of our ordeal. Once our items arrived they were in the worst condition possible. Our bags had been opened and clothes were pouring out, the TV that was packed by the removalists had a V drink can in the box which had leaked all over the TV and rendered it useless. On top of all of that they managed to lose the biggest item we had, our sofa. This company lacks communication and they dont like taking responsibility at all. We emailed the company at the beginning of September for compensation because we spent a decent amount of money for the move but they have still not replied. Very poor customer service.

We had high expectations from Grace but I feel we were ultimately let down by a lack of staffing resource. They sent insufficient packing staff & packing materials which led to a rushed & sometimes careless move. However I can say the team were very polite & arrived on time. They worked long hours but did not take the care we would have liked.

They were used by our international shipper for the local delivery and the service was excellent. Friendly helpful staff and on-time service.

They mucked up my moving date after confirmation (confirmed 17th then a week before they let us know it's the 14th) and now we have to suffer because of it. They also don't give you proper information on certain things (wanted to export my vehicle but they didn't let me know that I have to do all the permits and applications, which takes time, until I asked a few times) - which once again becomes my problem and they are quite unwilling to assist at this point. They act like they are doing us a favour for not charging us extra to move on a weekend even though our original date was the Tuesday after. So am I now supposed to find and pay for my own accommodation till we leave? Kinda difficult when we have dogs as well.
Edit: Gone from 1 star to 3 stars as after phoning them and explaining to them how it is their issue, not mine, they eventually agreed to do the 17th.
Edit2: I have had no further communication from them as discussed telephonically and no one is picking up the office phone. So back to 1 star.
Edit 3: 3 days later and I can't even get a proper invoice out of them in order to make payment. It's sooo frustrating dealing with them, especially Carolyn Stein.
Edit 4: They pitched up late, with the wrong packing list. After specifically asking not to feed the dogs as one has digestive issues, they fed that dog their lunch, causing us the rush it to the emergency vet at 4 in the morning and cancelling our flights, causing more than $2,000 in damages (vet bills, flight rescheduling, new export certs for pets due to flight reschedule)

Grace Removals were great from start to finish. Everyone was very helpful and made our move that much easier. Thank you!

We moved 6 months ago from One Tree Hill to Remuera in Auckland and the cost was less than $1000. This time we were recommended Grace removals from a college. We moved less furniture and only 600 meters down the road.cost, &1500! They wrapped furniture that we didn’t want wrapped and took 9 hours to move us by comparison to the previous movers who took 5 hours and such a short distance to travel too. After several phone calls and emails Grace apologised and reduced the account to $1200, still way too much by comparison. In our opinion they over promised and definitely under delivered. We would never use or recommend Grace Removals to anyone. They promise the world and give you an atlas.

3 weeks and still no quote by email? It’s ok going with Conroys an actual person came out for the quote the day after calling.disgraceful service by your company grace

Trusted Grace removals to ship our precious belongings from Perth to NZ. They came into our home packed up 7 boxes of valuable items and took them away. Two months later the boxes were delivered only to find that 15 pairs of expensive collector Nike air Jordan’s were missing and instead we received shoe boxes stuffed full of newspaper. A huge loss and no explanation or reparation from the company. DO NOT TRUST.

A very valuable painting was sent from Auckland to Christchurch to be delivered on my son's birthday. The crate arrive in Christchurch a day early. It then sat undelivered until I was told by my son that it was not delivered. The Christchurch office did nothing to contact me or my son, despite a phone number being on the crate. Did the company management apologise? No! That was left to one of the staff. I have deleted Grace removals from my Xmas Card list.
