I got these guys round for a small job, took a long time and they charged me $100 for a part I can get from trade depot for $2.50. From their website "We install only high-quality products as included in the price is an on-site warranty. We do charge a small mark-up on our materials to support our electricians and source materials sustainably. " They marked up the part and charged me $110 per hour to get a new blank wall socket. I didn't even want it but the electrician said it was "very cheap". It wasn't even installed, just left on the floor. I payed much more than I was expecting, I asked for an explanation from reception but they never got back to me. I got scammed.

Great service. Kept me updated and was quick and efficient. Will definitely be using Grammer Electrical again.

Impressed with the attention to detail and proactive approach to fixing light fittings and power points (which we had no idea were not really working) and the heated towel rail with advice on maintenance and leds needing to be replaced. My dad was a sparky and would have been happy!

Grammar Electrical sent out an electrical inspector to ensure that all in my home was safe and could comply with the Local Council's code.

The inspector, Andre, was polite, pleasant and yet focussed on his work. He explained to this 70-year-old what he was finding and thus did not leave him out of the event.

Anyone would find Andre determined to get the work done but not stand-offish or rude.

As he explained more and answered my questions, my trust increased.
The inspection was no quick-fire process. I felt that a thorough job was being done.

I could recommend Andre to anyone I know.

Electrician came out at 7: 30pm to fix burnt out mains wire. Spent time to explain what had happened and was very knowledgeable and efficient.

John arrived a little bit later than expected, but more than made up for that in his great workmanship, good advice in keep costs down with installation, and professional manner. He also had a quick look at what i thought was rust in my new oven- turned out not to be- thankfully! Giving John a 4.5 just because I hardly ever give a 5 as that means perfect- nothing can be improved. Thanks, John, great job! Very happy to do business with you again.

We contacted this company for a small job. It is extremely expensive and, in our opinion, unreasonably so. They never provided us with a quote, and the quality of their work is below average. I highly recommend not using their services.

I had my power out on Sunday night - it was cold night! Thankfully the electrician came quick to fix, so I could have my heater back on:)

Grammar Electrical are honestly amazing. I've never encountered such prompt, efficient and professional service. Honestly, they restore my faith in customer service and I would unreservedly recommend them.

Very Friendly, Excellent Service, came earlier than planned, completed all jobs in a quick and timely manner. Would definately recommend.

Incredibly unhelpful and overpriced. Charged for 3 hours of work but did not do any repair work. Took photos and said they would complete repairs on another day and charge again for that work.

First time using Grammar Electrical and they were awesome. We had an electrical emergency after hitting mains cables at 5pm on a Saturday and they were on site within the hour. Communication was a breeze and job was done without any issues. Highly recommend!

Update: could not fault the electrician. However after receiving the invoice I was unimpressed to find travel time and coc costs itemised out above the cost of a call-out fee. Their website is misleading as “travel” is included in the first hour. There were other unexplained costs that were arbitrary. After 4 emails they agreed these were incorrect.

On the plus, Kieran made contact the day before and arrived exactly on time. Great knowledge and efficient at finding a fault within our house.

WARNING! DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF. CHARGED $842 TO REPLACE 2 FUSES!

Complete and utter rip off merchants. I lost power to various power sockets at the rear of my house in November 2022. Grammar electrical visited on the 4th of November and determined two fuses had blown which they replaced that day. Four days later I received a invoice for $842 inclusive of GST which included $526.7 (incl GST) for the two fuses. The invoice had a due payment date of 15 November. When I challenged the invoice on the 8th of November I was told that managment had been notified of my query and that I should allow a few days for them to get back to me. It has now been 2 months and nobody from Grammar Electrical has got back to me. I subsequently had to pay the invoice on the due date out of fear of what further charges these cowboys would charge for me for late payment despite no response from management when I challenged the invoice.

Do not use Grammar Electrical unless you have deep pockets.
