Grand Park Chinese Seafood Restaurant reviews
59Gave away our table because they didn’t realize we were all there waiting. Also the food is super stale
Very busy, need plenty of time as the lineup waiting to get in is long, heaps of good food choices and good to try Chinese.
An institution for yum cha in Auckland. Probably the most popular restaurant due to their consistency, quality and central location. Remember to book in the weekends, because this place gets packed from 11am onwards. Their dinners banquets here are also phenomenal, service and food was fantastic. It's the sister branch to Grand Harbour for those in the CBD/Viaduct looking for something similar.
Food was average. A lot of it was cold and miserable looking. Certainly not a clean (as in clean tasting, fresh) set of dishes. Flavor was okay. Plenty doing the rounds but much going around and around.
Long ques. Due to the nature of location and surrounding relatively busy place and proportionally goes down the customer service.
Best yum char to go to for ur brunch on weekends. It is always so busy. And their mango pancakes are to die for.
Great selection of food for YumCha but I would strongly recommend people to make a booking if you can.it is always busy there.
V busy. They make you wait even when you have a booking. And then you have to be out in 45 mins. But the food is consistently good.
Expect an hour of wait time during weekends, with some weird prioritisation on who goes first once you’re in the lane (no, it’s not a first come first served basis). Got told there were two tables ahead of us, then 4. Then if somehow the miracle happens, only then you can get in and enjoy the amazing food. Ah, and booking a table over the phone does not matter.
Would be 5 stars if customers were treated the right way.
Not able to give a better rating as I was catching up w a friend so we were too busy talking that we only ate 4 dishes of the usual, deep fried dumplings, spring rolls, steamed veggies & siu mai. By the time we ate the food, it was lukewarm: (
One of the best yum cha in Auckland. I feel like I was in China when we had our send-off celebration here. The staff are nice but the waiters are a bit pushy when it comes to offering — you order one and will put two on the table — so be firm when ordering. I will definitely come back.
Make sure to book before you go.the food is amazing. Group bookings are better as you can sample a wider variety of food.
Really yum but sometimes the staff are too pushy! No i do not want 10x deep fried dishes, i want some of everything.ty
This place is crazy busy but well worth the wait. Food is fantastic, lots of choice. Service once in and seated is usually very fast. If you like yum char this is absolutely the place to try for a late breakfast or lunch. Good parking right out the front that's easy.
They do a great dinner with live tank fish, crayfish, clams etc. Highly recommend a try.
Nice place to go during the week, when they don’t limit your time of dining. Delious food, great service. However, seating is quite uncomfortable and awkward to enter, given this is a restaurant.
Food 4 stars, Price 3 stars, but Service 2 stars.
We were arranged at a table nearly close to the checkout counter. All those trolleys just ignored us and didn't ask us do we need any dish. Basically we didn't have a happy lunch.
The food was not bad, but not that good if considering the price is relatively more expensive than other Yum Cha restaurant.
Anyway this is our first time and also probably the last time visit this place.
Overpriced food, bad service, staff talking in their own language while serving food, poor customer service, wouldn't recommend.
Love this place
Not the cheapest but yumcha quality (taste etc) is always very good, decor simple (and starting to date?) and service excellent.
I eat here at least once per week so can definitely recommend it.
