These guys are not in for the you at all in a crisis.
They persuaded me to go with them by beating any of my other quotes and said they could get it done that day. The technician went there and they ordered the wrong size. They didn't tell me until the next morning and only put the new order in later the next day. The technician turned up again that afternoon (they contract in the plumber) and had to go away again as it didn't turn up. The office people are were pleasant but uncommunicative as to what was going on. The next day it still didn't show. My tenant had a 3 week old baby and now had no water for three days. There was no explanation but I knew these guys didn't have basic cylinders in stock and ordered when the job was needed. BUT they skirted around the truth continuously. The office staff didn't have power to call the delivery cylinder company directly to even ask where they were! This company is all about profit and the owner lives in Australia leaving his team to fight fires in an dysfunctional operation. I asked to speak to the owner but the staff seemed scared and said 'he doesn't speak with customers' (!?). The owner seems greedy and not at all customer centric. Not an honest company.

Left 5 messages over a week but no one called back.
Someone answers every time and tells me that they will pass the message but never received a call.
Sent enquiry through online too but still nothing.
I also had to provide the same information every time as if they didn't have my past requests/enquiries.
Doesn't seem like they have proper processes or systems to take customers enquiry.
I went with another plumbing company due to lack of communication.
Wouldn't recommend if you have urgent things to sort out.

Great pricing, product and installation. We were challenged with a tight time frame over xmas and Hot Water Cylinders came through brilliantly. They communicated really well and we are now enjoying great showers, and soon power bills as selected a new outdoor heat pump style cylinder.

I had my HWC moved from inside to the back of the house to free up space and changed from low to mains pressure. Troy was easy to talk with. He answered all my questions. He organised it all. Ray who came to assess and install was very good. He did the work patiently and with excellent workmanship despite the rain. I was impressed with the quick response of this company. My only disappointment was that I was expecting a stainless steel cylinder but was out of stock. They only found out after I accepted the quote. I was quickly notified that it was not available.
Despite that, I am pleased with what I have.

Troy was great, kept in contact and up to date on how my order was going and managed to squeeze me in before Christmas to get the work done. Really appreciate the work put in to get my cylinder sorted. Work was great, managed to fix my complicated cylinder and all is working great! Friendly team, highly recommend!

They updated my old, small and leaking low pressure system to a new RHEEM ECOPLUS 300L hot water heat pump system. This including updating my mixers and some of the old piping. This was all done to a very high standard. The ECOPLUS system is more than double the size of my old system but uses significantly less power to heat more water. I have not run out of hot water once since upgrading. The heat pump heat exchanger is also very quiet and even standing next to it I can only tell it is on due to the cool air coming out of it. I had several options for the placement of both the tank and heat pump unit and after discussions with the great install team we decided that outside and close together would work best, giving me options to repurpose the cylinder space inside. Having had it for several months I am very impressed with the system.

Our old Vulcan Freeloader died and we needed a gas fitter. We bumped into hwcnz and they were able to help us on the same day. We did contact other companies but without any success. One rung us back and quoted double the amount. A joke really.

Andrei did a fantastic job in installing my new mains pressure hot water cylinder. People like Andrei really add value to a business. The training really came through when Andrei gave me some training on site once the installation was complete. Very impressed.

Found this company to be very simple to use. Highly recommend them for your hot water troubles.

Had my cylinder moved from the inside of the house to the outside of the house. Was done in no time and hassle free. Hot water cylinders nz have lived up to their online reputation and I can certainly recommend.

Had a top gas fitter replace our gas hot water tank and also install a gas hob at the same time. Was very tidy and professional. Hot water cylinders also provided a gas certificate and master plumbers warranty. Very impressed.

We contacted hotwatercylinders.nz to convert our old low pressure cylinder to mains gas water heating. We dealt with Ata who was very friendly and explained all our options and costs. We made a decision same day and the installation was carried the following day. We were very happy to get rid of the old leaking cylinder and now enjoy long showers.

Easy dealing with this company. They are very organised and met all my expectations. They converted three hot water cylinders from low pressure to mains pressure. On time, on budget and left site as if they were never there. Impressive at the least. Will be using them again for other plumbing jobs.
