We had a new mains pressure hot water cylinder installed. Good price, easy process and quality work. Happy to use again

After 5 quotes and 3 site visits we decided to go with HWC NZ. They were honest and gave us really good advice on our Rheem gas hot water cylinders. We found many companies to be sub contracting others whilst Hot water cylinders had their own water employees which meant more responsibility towards the outcome. We definitely made the right decision and were very happy with our new hot water cylinder. We ended up giving them more gas work too.

It's not easy to find a good company but after reaching them on call HWC team explained us very professional and solved our issues.

Not a customer but was trying to be one. Requested a quote for a heat pump water system. I literally missed the call from hot water cyclinder by seconds, however called back immediately. The guy rejected my call multiple times (cut short). I tried again a few hours later as we really needed to get the project started, still no answer. Okay. The Ata calls back in the evening, kids screaming at the back, asked some questions. Comes back with a simple one line quote at 8.7k inc gst for a system i did not request for. I asked for a breakdown of the quote. No reply. I asked if the supplier had discontinued this heat pump system. No reply. Further research shows the system they quoted me for has discontinued. The company proceeded to spam through four reminder emails for the quote and yet till this day, no reply from Mr Ata Robati. Please sort out that customer service.

Easy to communicate and well trend experts addressed my issue very quickly and solved the cylinder prob, I don't mind to recommend them.

Recommended by another plumbing company HWC NZ preformed a replacement for us. Effective and professional highly recommend.

Dealt with Ata on the phone, who was able to source up an upgraded hot water cylinder from low pressure to mains pressure. Had Andrei and Angus come and install the cylinder swiftly and cleanly. No hidden costs and everything was open and confirmed verbally before going ahead. A+ highly recommended! Thanks team.

Don't trust these people! They will not respond to any questions about an order I placed mid Jan this year. While I finally recieved a call from their 'GM' and was promised the order in 5 working days, nothing ever happened.

Overall a fine service. The water cylinder was installed without a problem and works well. However, during installation they had to remove the door to fit the cylinder but was not put back on properly. Now it sticks out. They also had to replace our pipes and we found out weeks later it was leaking in our basement. They did come back and fix this without further problem or charge. Friendly enough staff and arrived on time.

Top service very happy I made the right choice, had new Rinnai Infinity gas installed with no hassles at all. Budget was on target and had all works completed same day. Definitely recommend

Installed a 180 Ltr cylinder in 2015. It was provided a 10 year warranty with this product. It costs $500 for a faulty part replacement in Easter week 2019. The company was not going to comply with its warranty and has stopped reponse emails since June 2019. Not an honest company. This unpleasant experience wil be shared with my community and people is wanting to know this type of business.

Them Stellar replaced in no time. Now we have gas hot water. Service was exceptional and price very fair. We can certainly recommend.

Had an infinity unit installed, I had Hot water cylinders also contract out an electrician which I paid for up front, the power point didn't supply power i.e. No hot water. The technician was gone before the electrician got there so wasn't tested together. Extremly poor management. Hot water cylinders argued that it wasn't them and stop responding to comms.
Since then I've had to get another electrician in to fix this problem.

Would never recommend to anyone.

FAKE REVIEW. We never charge upfront for electricians. We have certified inhouse guys. This user only has one review and is fake. Clearly targeted and abuse of a legitimate system. "

Apologies the language used was "we can bring a guy in" I took that as contracting someone in, my mistake. But this does make me more concerned that your own people did this as opposed to a dispute between companies.
However this attitude is the same attitude that I was met with when I came forward with the problem.
Conversation with Troy (I think he was the operations manager?), Huhaana who took care of the invoices and Eva who looked after my booking were fine, until the problem came about and nothing was done. Then a horrible conversation with someone named Rudy/ Ronnie? Happened and that was the end of it.

*It is funny that the owner has chosen not to reach out to understand the issue and has just outright called this fake. Buyer beware.

I wont be replying back to this purely for the sake of the issue at my end is now fixed at no action of Hot water cylinders NZ.
