Inspire Property Management

Since l moved into the property a year ago, l have no issues and quite happy. Zoard has been and is really supportive, very helpful and always be there when needed, the best property manager l have ever had. My needs are being met as a tenant, he does advocate for me to the landlord when the need arises.l feel l am in good hands and made the right choice to rent a property via Inspire Real Estate. Will definitely recommend friends and colleagues to Zoard and Inspire Real Estate without hesitating.

We dealt with Zoard as our Tenancy Manager. Hands down the best first experience i have had with private rentals. Always communicated with us, put up with our every day questions and even when it was time to say goodbye to our rental he is still in contact to tie up loose ends. Amazing service Zoard. Thank you

Had been under Inspire for over 5 years as a tenant. My property Manager Zoard had been pretty amazing to work with, he was very fast and efficient when emailed, he is so kind and is an understanding person, overall very happy to be under his management with this agency compared to others I had been under. Marion has promptly arranged an electrician and plumber to fix the hot water issue at the property we are living in. The work has been done in less than a day!:)

Had to ask for manager as the property manager I was dealing with wasn't up with the play regarding 90 day eviction notice process.

Cali Smith to use her birth name, and not Kelly Smith or Kelly Vienna, which are at least two pseudonyms she goes by was the property manager of a boarding house situated above a bar at 91 St Andrew Street, Dunedin where I was a tenant, and, where she previously resided. In my limited experience of property managers, she is by far, and away the absolute worst I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. During my brief tenure there that was cut short by a no-cause eviction, which was out of the blue (and groundless) she revealed herself to have sociopathic tendencies, lie pathologically, show no humanity, let alone any empathy, as well as be vindictive and malicious. Furthermore, I hold her wholly responsible for the theft of $5595 in cash from a storage room that should have been safe and secure. My money will never be recovered.

Not content with that she then put the boot in by notifying me that unless I moved all belongings out of said room and into my bedroom, I would be charged an extra $20 per week. Up to that point there had never been an issue with them being there.

After, moving out and in her last communication to me, she stated there was a trespass notice with my name on it and threatened to have me trespassed from the building, if I went anywhere near it. Understandably, I had no cause to go back there, much less drink in the bar downstairs. So, it served no purpose other than to flex her muscles.

I texted Anyos Gonczy, owner and general manager of Inspire Real Estate at least twice and tried to get hold of him by phone when it became apparent, she was going rogue. He never replied. After moving out I had a lawyer draft a Notice of Demand for Stolen Money letter a copy of which was sent to Lisa Johnson, executive assistant to Anyos Gonczy with the intention of trying to recoup my money (through the Disputes Tribunal), however, unbeknown to me Cali Smith was managing the property on the side, and therefore didn't involve Inspire. In spite of that, Lisa Johnson showed no sympathy for my situation.

When, it emerged trying to recoup my money would prove to be too difficult, I contacted Lisa Johnson to enquire, if they had provided Cali Smith with a reference, and if so, were they still willing to honour it in spite of everything that had taken place, but she never replied.

This review details only some of what occurred, and there is at least one other former tenant who was on the receiving end of her abuse.

The conduct of Cali Smith, and Inspire Real Estate is indicative of everything that's wrong with the industry (i.e. No regulatory structure and limited accountability) and until the Government brings them into line it will only continue.

I have been with Inspire for over five years and have found their service excellent. Zoard is now managing them, he does a great job and has been nothing but helpful including during a meth decontamination.
I have been able to set the standard I require and Inspires team have met my standard and communicated well with me on all situations.

This company has terrible management. I've heard from my friends about their experience with this company.

We have used their service for little over 2 years for our rental property in West Auckland and to say we are very disappointed with their service is an understatement. These guys have no initiative, not competent at their job at all, not customer focused at all, try to do as little work as possible and we had to always be the first ones to find out any issues with the tenant or the property. Being with these guys was most stressful and made us think what even is the point of having a property manager if we have to do most of the managing. We had too many issues with them to type it all out here but if anyone wants to hear the full story, message me and would be happy to share all the details. Needless to say we have now moved on from Inspire and we are much happier with our new property management company.

Working with Michelle in the sale of my house was a great decision.   Michelle is fantastic to work with.   She is a happy bubbly hard worker with total integrity who is so easy to work with.   Within a week of my house going on the market  Michelle had 3 really good offers for me and this was under Covid level 2.5.   So she really had to work hard under the restrictions and was totally organized. Michelle likes to have a lot of transparency and her interactions with potential buyers was consistent, mindful and honest.   Michelle is a realist who won't promise the world but has the ability to overdeliver.   She has been a pleasure to work with and I can highly recommend her

Zoard is a fantastic property manager. He is always available if I need him, he sorts any issues swiftly and without fail and clearly has a great relationship with my tenant. I don’t stress at all thanks to him. I would recommend him to any landlord who wants someone to take care of everything and take away all stress.

My property manager in Waiuku is Zoard. He's been looking after my property for over a year now. He is very professional and responsive, always on top of the things that needs attention. He is very thorough especially in inspections; I always get tons of photos of the property and full of details. Zoard is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
