Amazing food across the menu - the chicken parmigiana is incredible. Great atmosphere and the staff are lovely, friendly, helpful every time.

Great local hotspot for mid week family dinners/having afew after work Friday drinks or meeting up with friends over the weekend. Friendly efficient service and nice atmosphere.

Great venue for a late afternoon drink & early Sunday dinner with friends. We booked a table & were seated outside. It was hot & sunny & there was some shade which was good. Drinks menu is standard for a gastropub. I wan't the one paying, so can't comment on the cost of drinks, but as there were no comments from my companions I don't think prices were out of the ordinary. A fairly extensive menu was offered - a good selection of entrees, mains, salads & desserts. I wasn't up for a big meal so chose a couple of entrees. These were a good size & well prepared. My companions all had the 'roast of the day' - roast beef & yorkshire pudding with deep fried roast potatoes, peas, carrots & pumpkin, gravy & horseradish sauce. It was a large plateful, but demolished with gusto by all! Prices were standard for this type of venue. It was busy but there weren't any significant delays after orders were placed. Staff were friendly & interacted well with customers even though they were busy. Would definitely go to Lord Kitchener's again.

What a place to be! From the outstanding service to the delicious food and funky decor, this is one of my favourite places to be with family and friends - in the evening especially. To any first timers reading this, I hope you visit and love it as much as me. Thank you team for making my experience here enjoyable.

I had a great birthday celebration Sunday Lunch with 40 guests at Lord Kitchener today. An excellent environment, great service, delicious food. Several of my guests said they will go back again. Recommend.

No lion red on tap was a big disappointment but I made do with export.

Great food served for our work do today for lunch. Ordered all the items on the small plate menu. Didn't disappoint. Thanks for the lovely service team.

Really great for a family catch up but was not impressed that we were told the kitchen closed at 8pm when the website did not mention this and said it was open til 10. We felt rushed

I just celebrated my birthday at the Lord Kitchener. I was very impressed with all the staff, the venue itself and the food. They looked after everything so well. I can’t rate this place anymore than 5 stars. It’s was a fantastic evening, so a big thank you to all the staff on that night!

Ok, so lately I've been so disappointed by so many restaurants that miss one or all of the three, I feel, most important aspects of any eatery. Ambience, friendly service and right at the top great freshly made food. Lord Kitchener you tick all the boxes for my partner and I. Thank you! I asked myself last night why had we not been here before? See you again soon.

Place is usually packed so booking ahead of time is advised. Great ambience and nice ND friendly staff
Cocktails are a great variety and a must to try.

Fries were great. Fried chicken was really good. Was a big fan of the sauces that accompanied both, the vindaloo mayo is surprisingly good. Beer selection decent as well.

Amazing little spot, very warm and cozy, food is very nice, staff are very attentive and friendly. Love it!

Table booked for a birthday nearly a month before and not until we arrive do they tell us that we would have to vacate by 6.30 pm. Is that okay? Well, given that they had seated us outside, now not giving us a table inside, we ended up in a single row, not ideal, outside, under heaters, complete with wind, uncomfortable seating. 2 stars because the food was good and staff were nice when they asked us to move.

We ordered Hazy on tap but its wasn’t chilled and off taste too. So requested staff to check as we all three tried all feel the same.
Guy at bar was so rude, no apologies & very unprofessional. Didn’t offer alternative for hazy instead grabbed glasses from the table very rudely and just bring the same beer from same keg.
When we said thanks for the service he didn’t replied back just turn back in anger after giving a weird look.
Definitely Not coming back again. You guys lost your loyal customers today.

Superb place for a Friday evening. The bartender made super cocktails. Loved the ambience. Great customer service. There is car parking.

We held my nieces 18th birthday at Lord Kitchener and it was AMAZING! Staff were Awesome! Fast service, the food and drinks were so good.
There is parking right next to it which was very convenient. Everything was perfect
