Mitre 10 MEGA Glenfield

One of my favourite stores on the shore. Heaps of parking, knowledgeable staff, huge range of products. It also has a great cafe, which has a cool feature. There is a playground there that has cameras operating. So you can have a coffee in peace while keeping an eye on your children. You can use airpoints and afterpay here too, which is super handy.

I'm re writing this review. In Dec 2023
No staff member appeared willing to help while I was shopping.
Subsequently I visited in January 2024
And staff were more willing to ask if
I needed assistance as I did.

Bunnings warehouse is so good id recommend to come here its got every thing you need and they beat it by 15% so good.

Every time you go there to shop you will find a deal to take home with. I love going to mitre 10

Excellent range, but staff are hard to find in the aisles when you need a hand searching for specific products. I suspect they may have some new staff on board who may need some aisle direction training.but the checkout operators were efficient, friendly and helpful.

Came in today for some large pots and plants. A new gardening assistant helped me organise 5 trolleys with pots, soil and plants on and found out how many bags of soil I'd need, then helped me load it all in the car. Excellent service and really happy with the purchase.
Love being able to come in store again.

Pretty great helpful staff but they’re always under staffed and difficult to find someone to help

From the time I called right through to delivery, the experience is AMAZING! During such a busy time with the site being down and backlog of orders etc, I have had the nicest people on the phone, helping me and making sure that we get our products on time. THANK YOU! So very helpful, although website down they took phone order, checked if what I wanted was available, called to confirm order and it was ready to collect half an hour later.

Not good for plants. Very poor range of vegetables. Otherwise a large Mitre10 with the usual range.

Excellent shopping experience. Their online click & collect experience is far better than their next door neighbour. I ended up shopping here more often than other DIY stores.

Glenfield Miter10 is my local store. During lockdown I have to order some lights from Westgate store due to insufficient stock at Glenfield. I have to return some of the lights when we moved to stage 2. I went to Glenfield Miter10 with the order printed online for return. The staff were super helpful. Half way of the process he has to ask the floor manager how to deal with return with printed online order. The floor manager glanced at me and told him we can’t process it because she bought from Westgate. I have to drive all the way to Westgate for return. The staff there told me Glenfield staff could just give them a call to verify the invoice and then process it with no trouble. I was stunned. If it’s only a phone call away I really wish she could be more helpful.

Very slow and buggy website. Once it's there, click and collect process is so buggy. Cannot checkout by clicking the cart on top. Cannot enter airpoint details. Store selector refreshes the whole page and looses everything enters so far

Excellent click and collect service. The really great thing is that they seem to have learnt from their less than stellar service during the original AL3 last year and they are now running a slick service.

Thank you Mitre 10 Glenfield for such excellent service. I only ordered my product on Thursday and I received it today (Saturday). Excellent contactless delivery. Please compliment all staff involved.

My rating is more so for the cafe which is one of our go to places for good quality food at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and the chef puts out delicious food. The staff at mitre10 are great too, some however may shy away from being approached though, more like the younger generation is who i am referring to but overall mitre10 Glenfield remains our favorite branch even though we relocated elsewhere.

I bought some sheets of 2.4 × 1200 standard sheets of gib, young guy behind the counter over charged me twice then dropped the f bomb trying to act cool, I loaded up my van with no help from the many staff just walking around, they were not busy, it was midweek, it was an absolute joke from start to finish, pity I can't give you zero stars

Friendly, helpful staff, if they haven't got what you want, you must want something pretty obscure. It's a Kiwi tradition.

Always love to visit this store even though we have a competitor very close to where we live.
The staff in this store always wear a cheerful smile (at least the majority of them), greet you and ever willing to be of assistance. During this visit I did not know where to find a small metal strip for a DIY job at home. I guess my facial expression was a give-a-way that I was lost. A lovely lady attending to her duties observed me and spontaneously n cheerfully walked me to where the item was stocked.
Keep it up Mitre 10 Mega Glenfield.
