Very helpful staff. I approach the paint section, they are very helpful and guided me well

Very disappointed in the service provided and the quality of the products.

Bought a nearly $200 gazebo that collapsed and was destroyed due to a light drizzle of rain less than 24 hours after it was put up.
Took it back and was told by a very unhelpful duty manager Wayne that it is not a gazebo, despite being called a gazebo, it is really only a sun shelter and because a sticker inside a bag it comes with says it is not a permanent fixture he refused to exchange or refund it.

Would not recommend them. Bunnings is next door and are far more friendly and helpful

When I finally found someone to assist me to what I wanted they didn't know had to find another worker to assist. When I went to the checkout 2 workers busy having a conversation had to wait even though no other customers

Asked staff for location of product and easy in easy out happy with product. Magnetic fly screen.

Staff either really grumpy or I dont work in this department go and ask someone else. Or just angry people. Checkout operator staff either no nothing or cant speak or understand english.

It is an excellent place to find what you need for professional work and they have a staff always willing to help you

Great service ESPECIALLY from a lady in the wood section and the guy that collected our wood, cut it for us and helped us take it to the car on Sunday 9 July 2023 around 1: 30pm ish. The 15% price promise is awesome as well as inwas able to buy everything from M10 instead of both M10 and Bunnings and one that was cheaper online at bunnings actually scanned in cheaper at M10 so overall extremely chuffed with this store! If those 2 wonderful staff members in the wood section see this THANK YOU FOR YOUR WONDERFUL SERVICE AND HELP! We had a sour experience last time we went here with a supposed manager who knows nothing about customer service but you 2 guys have changed our minds and we will be back.

Big ups to the very helpful fulla who helped me today from on the phone, to instore (wish I caught his name I think he was maori.). He even helped lift the BBQ into my vehicle. Extra plus to the lady who served me at checkout. Very bubbly and helpful team. Made the trip from Mt Roskill worth it!

I can see Mitre10 now has much more variety of goods than before. Eg. Makita tools and etc. Also the garden furniture and BBQ displays are the unique shopping point compared to Bunnings.

Poor phone customer service, can't help on the spot, got advise to send an email, already sent an email on shipment that haven't received still no response.

Came across helpful staff today, down at the timber end. Good service. Actually, I noticed a difference today between Bunnings and Mitre 10, Mitre 10 were controlling their queue and contact tracing, good on your Security. I'm afraid Bunnings wasn't, was very crowded in there, hopefully that doesn't come back to bite.

I love their cafe by the gardening goods.
It’s so relaxing and a nice place meeting your friend.
Got heaps of available gardening stuff in a reasonable price.

These guys know a lot. And are quick to help and point you in the right direction. Every need catered for.)

I went in, security at the door, sign or scan it was no real hassle.
Disappointed at the checkout when one of the young staff crowded me while I was standing in line

Had x2 orders to collect at 1: 30pm and x1 order at 2: 30pm, called up and asked if I could consilidate them to collect at a single time and was told they would all be ready at 1: 30pm. Arrived at the requested time, and had to wait until 3pm. Hired a truck at $150 per hour expecting a quick easy collection, and ending up spending out of my pocket due to this mess around. One of the employees was being rude and confrontational when we asked why the order has not come, and followed up by insisting that our pickup time was at 2: 30pm and to be patient, completely unaware that we had already arranged it for 1: 30pm, which we made clear to him but he still would not reason with us.

One women employee kindly corrected this guy that we did indeed call to have it consolidated for 1: 30pm.

Will not return to another mitre 10 ever after this experience.

Had the wrong order placed in my car during click and collect. However staff were quick to rectify their mistake. All was good.

Had to wait 1 hour today to pick up a small order. What’s the point of offering time slots for collection if you can’t deliver on time. Pick up time for collection was 3 pm and I got the order just after 4.

If price and departments passing you around because they have no clue is what you're after then this is not the place for you. If you're after a true Kiwi experience with departments knowing exactly what you're after i.e. You could be in the garden section asking for a bloody bolt and you will be taken to exactly to the exact aisle and shelf that you need. With most if not all items at hand there is no need to special order.
