Rod did excellent job on renovation of our property. He is brilliant in communication and has sound knowledge when it comes to renovation. He knows a group of specialists which making the whole job went smoothly. Rod is very reliable and responsible. We can highly recommend Rod and no doubt we’ll come back to him next time. Rod and his team of tradies did a great job of renovating my 25 year old kitchen and turned it into a modern functional kitchen. The transformation is amazing and makes me now want to spend more time in the kitchen. He was a good communicator, provided great advice and options based on his many years of experience and went the extra mile when he needed to. The two most important qualities for someone doing work for you, has to be care and competency, and Rod has these qualities in spades. The transformation of my bathroom was remarkable - I learnt about the process, I was listened to, Rod thoroughly explained all aspects, and I am delighted with the result - I could not recommend Rod more highly and will be asking him back to do my kitchen, no question.

Was a very disappointing job had a leak after one year and was not happy on how they went about fixing the leak put the blame onto their supplier and no result taking months to sort out myself and would strongly advise not to use him!

Rod was great to work with, great communication right through the process of transforming our old kitchen into one that suits our needs perfectly. His sub-contractors all know his standards and work to those as well resulting in a great finished product. Our kitchen reno was part way through as the COVID lockdown loomed but Rod went above and beyond to ensure that our benchtops went in the day before lockdown started so that we at least had a functional space to use over the 4 weeks. He even ensured that the sinks were delivered on time in very trying circumstances. His organisation was such that when lockdown eased, he was in in a flash to finish the kitchen off. Very happy with finished product, and we are already considering using him again for another reno project. Highly recommended

Rod was great to work with on a total renovation of a bathroom in our house. We are very happy with the quality of the design, fixtures and fittings selected and the high standard of work completed by all tradesmen.

Rod did an excellent job of renovating 2 large and 2 minor rooms at the same time. The bathroom has been transformed from a below average cramped place into a free flowing walk-in room which has ticked all the boxes. The kitchen has gone from dark and cramped into light, spacious. A couple of suggestions also allowed the addition of a new pantry and double sized refrigerator which has really transformed to house.

Really good communication throughout the process, especially whilst we were overseas for a majority of the time.

Rod is a magician at making the impossible happen - especially when it comes to council. His pragmatic approach and attention to detail meant that even under huge pressure we were able to open our doors on time with an amazing looking Studio. Our members are enjoying the high quality of our showers and bathrooms as well as many unseen factors making the entire Studio one of quality. Many thanks to Rod and his team for coming through when things got tough.

Rod coordinated the renovation of our kitchen. He is a great guy, easy to work with, communicates well and has excellent tradesmen to bring in for specialties like kitchen designer, plumbing and electrical. I knew immediately who I wanted to employ when our bathroom needed renovating. I had met Rod when he was working on an extension. I help out at the owners home cleaning. A good way to see first hand how a bathroom stands up to being used. What impressed me was how both bathroom and kitchen looked just as good as they did when new 2 years prior. Rod has high stds & attention to detail. The schedule was adhered to as was the budget. Any problems that arose were fixed asap. Communication excellent and I was made aware of all that was occurring. Rod makes the process very easy as he takes the responsibility of the renovation for you. Our beloved 1960s weather board bungalow was needing some major interior TLC with a special focus on the 2 bathrooms and a kitchen/laundry. We met up with several builders, project managers, kitchen and bathroom specialists. One impressed us with his depth of knowledge, patience, length of time in answering our many questions, accurate site measures, plans and written competitive quotes; builder ROD NICOL. It was a major project but Rod had it all under control including providing us with a daily schedule & updates. Rod project managed all his tradies & is a real stickler for high standards. If anything was not up to his standard he would ensure it was addressed and we did not experience any stress. Best of all we are very happy we went along with Rod's open plan suggestion - lounge, kitchen, laundry; an absolutely stunning transformation.
Based on our experience we would highly recommend that you get your project right the first time and secure Rod as your trustworthy builder.

Rod was so great to deal with right from the first contact. We did not have much experience with renovating and he patiently took the time to guide us along.
