Such a great restaurant. When other restaurants struggle to provide knowledgeable, professional and experienced staff Onslow delivers. Always an outstanding menu. Interesting, really fresh flavours prepared to perfection. Very good wine list. I have always like Onslow and can't wait to go back again.

Amazing dinner, one of the best nights I’ve had ever. The food was incredible, service was professional, cocktails were great, and we got a happy anniversary message written on the plate plus two small chocolate berry cakes - a really nice touch to finish the night! It’s hard to fault this place, I highly recommend coming to Onslow for a special night out.

Food was alright, desert was the best course. Lamb was the best dish, we had nearly everything on the menu between 6 people.
Everything was fine but not outstanding. It was a Sunday lunch menu so might be different for dinner.

Situated in the centre of Auckland, Onslow is by far one of the best (if not the best) restaurants in the city. To describe the food as "exquisite" would be the understatement of the century. The architecture of the building that houses the restaurant displays beauty and the atmosphere inside is very dynamic. This is a place you don't want to miss.

Had a lovely dining experience here last Friday night with my good friend.
Service was great from start to finish. Shout out to Jach, our very friendly and knowledgeable waiter.
Food was yummy. My fave dish was the pumpkin entree dish. I loved the martini cart, my friend who isn't a huge gin fan was very impressed with his mezcal martini and I loved my dirty martini that was made using award winning Roots Gin.

A true culinary experience. Food and service is exceptional. My wife and I had about 10 dishes between us, from starter “treats” through to dessert, and each was faultless. At this moment Onslow is best restaurant in Auckland, if not NZ.

We hosted an event for 80 people in the private room on Thursday evening. The food, service and ambiance were perfect - highly recommend.

What can we say, food service and atmosphere was great!

Lovely meal that had some fantastic starters and very friendly and attentive staff. Enjoyed the crayfish eclairs and terrine were excellent. Also loved the Porchetta.

Our secret spot for the dine-out. Service is amazing and efficient. Always warm welcome. When it's busy, the bar table is recommended. I love to seat at the bar as it's fun to watch the bartender serving professionally, friendly and gently. Food is always fresh and delicious. The environment is luxurious and well looked after, with the modern and detailed high-end finished fit-out, the lighting is helping the mood, tables are spacious, breezing but not cold. When it's dark, the sky city is changing colour and shows off its metro city scenery.
The food and beverage menu is well-selected, especially the beverage. Highly recommend ordering a bottle to save a glass of a bubble.
I dare say it's one of the best semi-fine/fine dinings in Auckland.
The crisp agria, tomato salad, beef cheek, beef skew, tiramisu.wonderfully made, mouth-watering.
Always enjoyed having a great time with my best friend, wife, with a chat about the family. I hope to enjoy it a little longer while it's being. Special thanks to Josy, and his team.

We went there for our 30th anniversary & we where not disappointed, everything was great from service to food, the ambiance was nice & the staff were very friendly, highly recommended for any occasion.

Absolutely perfect Sunday lunch celebration for our 40th wedding anniversary. The staff were caring, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was sublime and each dish beautifully curated and totally delicious. Our table felt private, yet had a nice outlook to the peaceful surroundings. Thank you for making our day so special.

Went to onslow for the Sunday lunch - set menu with a few adjustments as my wife is pregnant. This was no trouble at all and the lovely wait staff knew everything which was safe to eat and should be avoided.

The entrees were a real highlight, the fried bread and chicken liver parfait was absolutely delicious.

Great food, great service, nice drinks, we will be back. Excellent value as well 4 courses for $85 per person, we were very full at the end.

Where do I start? ! This place is like a 20/10! Came here with my partner for Valentine’s Day, and they did such an amazing job - both the waiting staff and chefs! I didn’t even know it was hidden in this location. The vibes felt like very exclusive! Parking is definitely a mission.

Not normally a fan of chicken liver in the Fried Bread Chicken Liver Parfait w/ Smoked Maple but omg it was divine. Couldn’t even tell that it was chicken liver in there! The bluff octopus was also cooked to perfection - not chewy at all.

The braised beef cheeks was also cooked to perfection. It was like heaven! The meat was so tender and it melted in your mouth! Beautifully cooked.

Honestly would 200% come back!

Meet the winemaker dinner event amazing experience I've wanted to visit onslow ever since we moved in last year the ambiance is definitely amazing the service and the hosts at are top notch the dishes were paired well that evening all I can say is I can't wait to come back for a normal dinner with their ala car

Our first time experience at Onslow was perfect from start to finish. The staff welcomed us warmly and were attentive throughout. The food was amazing, with the menu having a good selection. We especially enjoyed the Porchetta and Beef Cheek mains, and Not Tiramisu for dessert. Thank you.
