Came here for a celebration, the garden terrace was amazing in the sun. The food was different to other restaurants of the same calibre and the service was next level. Will be going again.

The most fashionable restaurant in Auckland at the moment and probably the best. Excellent in all respects.

This is the 2nd year that have spent my birthday dinner at Onslow. The ambiance, service and food is faultless. Alex rang to say our table was running late and he has set us up at the bar with a complimentary drink while we wait. Very classy and set the tone of the dinner. We all had a drink from the martini trolley and even learned it should be stirred not shaken! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Classy dining. Well-managed with Covid restrictions. I'll definitely be back for a special occasion again.

We were celebrating our daughter's 21st and the team at Onslow went the extra mile, from a birthday card waiting on the best table in the house, when we arrived, to a mini cake with candle presented at dessert, not to mention many happy birthday wishes from staff. Add to that outstanding service from Jonathan and sublime food and exquisite wine! We felt very spoilt and will not only recommend Onslow to our friends and family but also to anyone who reads this review. Professional without being pretentious, - fantastic!

Had Christmas dinner with my wife. Food are ok, but waiter said something end of dinner what made us unpleasant.

Waither told us that he is from Europe and he will keep be a gentleman even we didn't say "please" when he was serving us. Ok, it sounds really like racialism. Could you please explain what he means? Is it means that people are from Europe who are in upper -caste hindus than others. Your staff has surprised me and I do not know someone is still arrogant and stupid in 2021.

By the way, we were saying "please" during whole meal to waiter and paid tips as well.

Will not go to your resturant anymore and will share my experience to my friends.

Phenomenal service and vibe. Cocktail list was substantial. I’m vegan so had the stuffed zucchini flower. The experience was outstanding.xX

Went here with work colleagues for a night out. Very nice menu. I had beef cheek main which was melt-in-mouth & a very light & tasty raspberry soufflé for dessert.

Service was amazing, our waiter Alex was lovely, enthusiastic & food delivered to table very quickly.

Fabulous restaurant, sensational food and stunning environment. We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Onslow and it was without doubt a “golden experience “ - especially as it was our 50th anniversary. It was hard to decide what to order- the oysters were especially tasty but every dish was without question, superb. Thank you Onslow team for a memorable evening.

Popped in yesterday to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary, the service and food were absolutely on point, we thoughly enjoyed it and will be back!

I took my staff out for an end of year dinner last night. Exceptional service from all. Top dish was the market fish and a highlight was the salmon bar. Delicious cocktails too. Greta

I decided to dine at Onslow in reflection to a very pleasant exprience I had at Rātā in Queenstown, and again, everything was beyond my expectations, especially a 6 star service from the staff members.

Great meal, interesting wine list and attentive service without being over bearing. Highlights were the chicken liver parfait, Snapper and Duck. Great spot for a celebration dinner or when you feel like going all out

Amazing service and excellent food. We were really impressed with the menu and that it delivered on taste. The treats are not to be missed and the waitress was right, you can’t share them because they are so good you will end up ordering more to yourself! A smoothly run operation that was still warm and inviting. Would highly recommend.

Everything was amazing. The cocktails to start were a balanced blend of interesting flavors. The starting 'treats' were creative and delicious. Highlights for us were the jus with the beef cheek and the chicken liver parfait. We'll be back for another special occasion.

Twelve of us shared the most fabulous "long lunch" together at Onslow. The food was divine, full of fresh flavours and beautifully presented. The presentation was amazing, but the special service is what truly made our experience at Onslow so wonderful! Sandy gave us nothing but attentive, friendly and professional service from the moment we first arrived right through the afternoon. Couldn't wish for a more memorable dining experience!
