Palmers Remuera

The help desk staff is very friendly and helpful, while some will blatantly ignoring you - even immediately looking away from you when locking eyes. The price is a bit dearer compared to King's Plant as well as Bunnings but they have several stocks uniquely stocked

So want these tropical! Great selection in store. Brought what I was after. Also great friendly service.

Not as we remember it on previous visits.

The food was alright but not great. It was very busy so maybe that affected the standard of the meal.
We were disappointed with the choice of plants (trees) and the price of the things we looked at were difficult to see.
Not a good experience.

Ordered 2 expensive ($250 each) 25 year old buxus on July 18. Next week after not hearing went in to enquire on progress. Told buyer was away. Next week did same thing. Told to wait for call. Today 3 weeks later went back to enquire. Told now they have no record of the order, which we wrote into the book and confirmed phone number.

Total incompetence. I now understand to get 25 year old buxus from Palmers takes 25 years.

Shop at nearby Plant Barn where we have never had a problem

Love the Palmers Remuera nursery. Purchased a wonderful planter and plant to match. The service was great and the owner gave me a generous discount.

Really disappointing to go into the Cafe and hear a lady with the most Karen haircut (who I later find is the manager) rip into the kitchen staff saying "If you want to work here speak english". In this day and age, that rubbish attitude is simply not ok.

Customer service at the cafe is awful, but when they finally make the right coffee for you, It is good. Got my coffee order wrong 3x in a row, how this is possible I don't know.
I think their coffee is probably the most overpriced in the area.
I would have stopped coming a while ago if there was anywhere else nearby to go.

Awesome place as it's full of nature. Great cafe too. Lovely staff. Tables nice and clean when I arrived here.

Great place to find the plants you want and to stop and meet up with friends for a cup of coffee or lunch.

This place really needs to review it's style and quality of service.
When you can shop at most places these days and take it for granted that if you aren't happy with your purchase you can happily return it, why would you shop at Palmers in Remuera? I
f you have a problem with a product 1-5 members of staff will stand around gawping at you, no one will know what the hell to do with you, the manager will be elsewhere and you will need to talk to 5 people over many days to find any solution.
After a week they'll decide to refund your $17 and you'll wish you never pulled into Palmers.
Drive a few hundred metres down the road and go to Kings. Lot's of cafes down there too.

Was just in Palmers Remuera today, and I witnessed what seemed like the boss woman absolutely RIPPING into her employees for no good reason at all, the employees were doing a fantastic job. Came in to make a large purchase, but was immediately put off by this behaviour and walked right out. Extremely disappointed with how she's treating her employees, and she's losing business because of it.

Always enjoy the coffee and food here. Great service by Falguni, the staff always really look after you.

Lovely garden centre and gift shop to visit and browse though overpriced. Nice Cafe though expensive compared to other Remuera cafes.

Wow. These people are fantastic! The staff here are so helpful and knowledgeable, I don’t think I want to go to any other garden store. Thank you to the team at Palmers Remuera.

I rang the store twice on Sunday, the 11th of April at 1.52pm and 1.54pm to get help with my house plant that I purchased in February this year. My call was answered by Bob. Bob was very rude and blunt, rushed through the conversation both times. The first time he abruptly hung up while I was still talking. When I called the second time he sounded upset. When I asked him if I could speak to someone else or the manager he refused and disconnected the line again.

It is very rude to be treated like that especially after spending so much on the purchase and it is only been couple of months. I think I am within my consumer rights to seek help if I have purchased something that is not living to the expected standards. I was only wanting to seek advise on how I could change my care to improve the plant's health. Appalled and disappointed by this behaviour.

I delivered here and a staff member yelled at me for no reason. I'm in full uniform, vehicle is covered with the company name and still, she thought I was dodgy. C'mon, if you can't recognize a courier service vehicle, how else would you recognize us by?

Always a lovely place for exquisite plants and accessories. The cafe offers a terrific range of food goodies and other temptations too! Very relaxing and a great place to meet friends.

Pleasant. Lots of non-plant gift items for sale. Don't pour tea into cup while seated at out door cafe garden tables. When full pot spout drips, through slated table, straight on to your lap.

Nice place, great range of plants and garden stuff, good prices as well. Really liked the cafe too.

Needed to exchange a spade. Very helpful, done with no qualms and a smile on their face. Good old fashioned service. Nice atmosphere and large variety of nice accessories for indoors, outdoors and gifts.
