Palmers Remuera reviews
61Only problem we found was at the time we arrived they had a delivery which blocked the entrance to disabled parking so we had to do a three point turn in a large van quite tricky
I came close to closing time. And assistance was really in a rush to get me out I totally understand. Although lacking in customer service though.
Knowledgeable staff, lots of choice of varieties and colours. A successful place for a gardener!
Lovely location. Very good food at reasonable prices and super friendly staff. Will definitely be back! Great coffee too
I was looking for a unique indoor plant for a gift. I received excellent advice from the friendly and helpful staff.
Beautiful garden centre with delightful indoor shop full of lovely goodies great lil florist shop and cafe too the later gets busy but service is great
Fabulous place! Great food & coffee. & Service, brilliant gift shop & Fab garden things. Will def be going again
Great plants with good variety. Excellent cafe with good coffee. Really disappointing to discover they do not take Palmers loyalty card. Was told store is franchised and owners chose not to have cards. Would have thought all stores would be run the same. Won't but plants there again.
Afternoon tea. Lots to choose from. Great choice of yummy food. Good service. Nice seating areas. Inside or outside.
Very quite and to a certain degree intimate place for a nice conversation. Food is above OK but not absolutely great.
Massive store. Everything you would need from a plant store. Good gift selection and great cafe.
I had a great experience at Palmers Remuera. In particular I was helped to pick a rose by a gentleman who had an encyclopaedia knowledge of roses, and an obvious love of them. A true rosario. Thankyou do much.
Not really any place to compare as this is the only one of two around. It's quite average and service is the same. However I have hit my head multiple times on hanging pots and decorations hence my 3 star.
Service not great though eatery packed with healthy alternatives. I like location backs onto Palmers for Gardeners heaven
Lovely place, they have a huge variety of plants and garden accessories. The prices are nominal too. I had to give Palmers just 3 stars owing to the billing staff. I suppose they weren't trained to gift-wrap, or they were just too demotivated to do anything today - either case Palmers is responsible. I saw my gift being crumbled and wrapped with neither skill nor any motivation. Pics attached - it was a waste of gift wrapping paper and 20 minutes of my time.
Went there for breakfast. Beautiful omlette with mushrooms. Buy vege plants there from time to time.
Cafe food was slow. After half an hour of no food I had to remind them. They forgot. There was a fly in the cabinet with the food. No offer of water. Waited an hour to have empty plates cleared. Not good value for money. The chairs outside are too narrow and we had to move inside because of terribly uncomfortable chairs.
Fly in the cabinet. Meal 30 minutes to arrive. Not good value for money. No offer of water. Empty plates sat on table for an hour after the meal. Very slack and slow.
A wide range of indoor and outdoor plants along with a display of water features and outdoor pots. The cafe is a must to visit when you come here, with indoor and outdoor seating which is comfortable and has ambience. The staff are helpful and the coffee is hot! This is always crucial for me and will be the decider for a return visit or not. Good job Palmers.
This a consistent favourite of ours. The dining room is a bit cramped and dark, but the outdoor areas are great and the food is too. Standard Cafe fare, but done well. They have a kids play pen area. It's really only for younger kids, but our 5 and 7 year olds still enjoy it. Enjoy a wander around the shop after your lunch. They have interesting stuff, even if you're not in to gardening.
