Pizza Hut Royal Oak

Place was very clean, tidy, and warm when I visited to collect my online order. It didn't smell or feel gross like other fast food restaurants which was nice. The Indian man working today was friendly and prompt with my order- although they finished it early, my pizzas were still hot when I got home. Great service considering the cheap price, thanks!

Ordered online, went in (at the time stated, remembering that I use a walking stick) and had to wait for an extra three quarters of an hour!
Staff were very rude, not wearing any masks, nor changing gloves between handling money and food!

I've just had a reply from PH Royal Oak and they are blaming covid for the problem! Utter B. S! I've already replied to your online reply thing and talked to Restaurant Brand about this and they are NOT HAPPY about your timing, treatment of myself and lack of hygiene (especially with Covid 19.

Made Order online, it says pick at 6: 41pm! On arrival they quickly swiped my bank card to pay for the pizza then I waited. Wait and ask have they make my order yet? Until 8: 00 found they hasn’t cook my pizza yet! Wait over an hour and 20 minutes, I still got nothing! It is ridiculous and liar they told me it would take another 5 minutes to make it! Well, I don’t know how many 5 minutes we’ve been waiting for! Two other customers experienced same problem! Not recommended at all

Preordered pizza online, confirmed 10.45am pick up, no one at the store. Called no answer at that time. Called repetitively, when it opened at 11am no answer, no answering machine. Don't go by the website

Ordered some pizza to be delivered. I was expecting a bit more of pepperoni as it is promoted very differently of what I got. This pizza had barely pepperoni on each slice. No more than 1 or even 1/2 slice of it.
Not worth it for $15.

WARNING: This place is a scam. Pizzas can be 1 to 2 hours late and they don't answer phone so you can't cancel your order. If you do order, be sure to use a credit card and if it doesn't arrive and there is no one picking up the phone - dispute the transaction with your bank! Also be sure to lodge a complaint with the main Pizza Hut website.

I walked into the store (02.02.2022 at 14: 30) and the staff was on my cell phone, talking loudly and laughing. He asked me what the order was and kept talking on his cell phone while the pizzas cooled on the table. When he finally packed the pizzas he started typing on his cell phone not caring that I was waiting for the order. Very rude and unprofessional. His pizza pan fell to the floor and he just put it neatly back on the shelf. Very DIRTY and messy place.and not to mention pizza, horror! We didn't get what we ordered. SKIP this place!

Big New Yorker Pizza was undercooked, soft and doughy in the middle. Nobody answers the phone (tried 5 times), only Monday afternoon. Much less toppings than other Pizza Hut in Auckland, won’t be returning

Have been coming here since I was a child with family. Friendly staff, good service. They handle complaints well, when I said there wasn't any chicken on a chicken pizza. Improvements have been made since then which is always great.

Absolute joke of a Pizza Hut. After 1.5 hrs of waiting we called them and gave them our order number of our prepaid pizza. They said they would bring it soon. An hour later nothing, tried to call again and no one would answer the phone? We want to just arrange a refund but they seem to just be happy to take our money and deliver nothing

Poor customer service. Waiting time is a bit longer compared to dominos. However expectations for the pizza are met.

This place is exceptional, the pizzas arr always delivered on time! Never had a single problem, would highly recommend!

We normally shop here. Today I found out that staff preparing food wasn’t wearing a face a mask!
They ask you to wear a mask and show a vaccine pass but they aren’t even wearing a mask!
PS: food is always good but this made me feel upset as they’re handling our food

This should get shutdown. I ordered san francisco style pizza and they give me deep pan.if you can't make them then don't advertise them. Highly disappointed

Learn something from Pizzahut Botany.always 5Star pizza. This royal oak pizza hut should be closed.

It is not easy for me to place such a bad review of any food place in these times of great uncertainty for the hospitality industry however my experiences and observations warrant an extremely low rating for this place. I went into this establishment at 18: 40 this evening (Tuesday 28th December 2021) and placed an order for a plain cheese pizza with added jalapeño. Although the pizza I received was absolutely appalling (San Francisco instead of plain with all the pizza sauce in one lump in the middle and jalapeños that left a lot to be desired) it was my observations of staffs' absolute disregard for food safety & Covid-19 protocol that frightened the daylights out of me. An Indian guy in a white toyota drove up around 7: 00 pm walked into the store wearing no mask, shook hands with the guy making pizza who after the greetings proceeded to continue making the pizzas, cutting & packing them into boxes without washing his hands. YUK! The floor tiles in the store was littered with dirty filthy cardboard sheets! Why are you guys playing with our lives man? Why is a person who is cleaning a machine with cleaning spray then allowed to pack pizzas into boxes,

Regular here cause of the location. Quality of the pizza is average but the service is terrible - they really need to sort out their pickup mechanism - will make you wait even though your pizza would have been ready 15 minutes back. The person who takes care of handing out the pizzas rarely cares to check with the folks waiting for their order.

Not good.
I had to wait 30 minutes more than the pick up time, not enough topping and not right portion. Test was not fresh.

Regular user of this pizza hut and over the last few times service and pizza standard has dropped but this is the final time i will use them. Ordered the Limo pizza and 2 sides online. Order was delivered after 55 mins only after id rung to see where delevery was and i live within 2mins of this pizza hut.
Order was cold and pizza base tasted very doey like only half cooked on all of pizzas and the sides where soggy and cold to. Rang to tell this to them to be told send us a picture of the pizza {dont know how you can tell from a picture a pizza is not cooked properly) will not be using them again not recommended

Absolutely disgusting service and food! We ordered 3 large pizzas, chips, chocolate lava cake and a coke, the lava cake never came with the pizza and the pizza was cold! Even though we live 4 mins away, I rang to complain the lava cake didn’t arrive, and the pizza was cold we didn’t eat it, he said he will credit the lava cake but would not do anything about the cold pizza, it was disgusting such a waiste of money I will tell everyone I know around here not to order from Pizza Hut royal oak. They also said they would call me back about my credit for the cake they never called back and stopped answering the phone. Never again

Well I gave this place a second chance but I shouldnt have. Pizza was cold, soggy chips, soggy onion rings, its just not a nice experience.just avoid the place unless your drunk and dont care what your food tastes like
