I wish I had read the other reviews before booking Premium Clean for a moving out clean in Dunedin. I booked the week before I needed the clean done and they asked to reschedule the clean due to availability of cleaners less than 24 hours before the clean was due to take place. I begrudgingly accepted the reschedule, but told them I would be leaving them a poor review and criticised them for making a booking without cleaners available. At this point they cancelled the appointment completely. I had to scramble to find a different cleaning company to do my move out clean with only two days until the house was meant to be handed over to the new owners.

I was very satisfied with the work he had done for our home, it was definitely a 5 star from us, we will definitely be mentioning this service to friends and family, thank you very much.

Over two hours late, seriously terrible cleaning job with so much untouched despite paying extra on top of the move out clean price. When sent to fix, late again by 90 minutes. Awful communication, not punctual, and poor results. Would never use again.

Shoutout to Melissa for a job well done! Very thorough and trustworthy. I had to leave for a couple of hours for an appointment and when I returned, the house was spotless and everything was where it was supposed to be. Nothing missing. And I would book another appointment with her because my shower needs another good clean as per her advice. So, thank you again Melissa and the whole team. Superb!

DO NOT use this company. I engaged them for an exit clean. The quality of cleaning was not up to the level of an acceptable exit. I gave them plenty of opportunity (5 days) to rectify the situation.

Instead I got a lack of proactive response, no communication, being passed from central office to franchisees, rude responses from staff and a lack of taking responsibility for what they did.

I had to pay again for another cleaner to get my bond back.

You will regret it if you engage them. This is my first 1-star rating ever in many years of reviewing businesses.

Paid over $500 for end of tenancy clean, extra for inside of oven and fridge. The cleaner was there for under three hours, left cobwebs in laundry, oven wasn't cleaned properly, nor fridge. Worst part was when i called to complain the company said they were taking it seriously, would ask cleaner if she had photos to prove that she did clean, and never replied to me. I emailed but heard nothing. I was really disappointed by the carelessness with which cleaning was done and the company's responsiveness to take it seriously. A lot of money wasted

We booked a $400 deep clean service (with multiple add ons) as a gift for one of our best friends who is going through a really rough time with an unwell child.

I originally booked the clean for 9am, however the day before the clean the start time got changed by Premium Clean to 3pm due to an unwell staff member. 2 hours later it got changed again to 2pm. Due to these changes made by Premium Clean our friends Mother had to complete the final walk through as our friend needed to be at a hospital appointment with her son.

As soon as our friend got home from the hospital appointment she saw that her fridge had been visibly damaged from it being wiped (see photo). She then immediately text the cleaner to let them know and ask for it to be rectified.
It looks like the cleaner has used either an abrasive product OR a previously used cloth (potentially from when cleaning the oven - an add on we paid for).

I then contacted premium clean head office to let them know about the damage. After multiple emails and phone calls the final stance from Premium Clean is "you need to have recent proof of the fridge prior to the clean OR do you have CCTV footage from the kitchen? ".

A very long story short they will not take responsibility and asked me to contact their insurance company to make a claim for them which I knew was not the correct process however to appease Premium Clean I followed their instructions. After personally speaking to Premium Cleans insurance company to confirm that this was the incorrect process, I now need to ask our friend to lodge a claim with her personal contents insurance (which is the last thing she needs/has time for with an unwell son) for her insurance to take the damage up with Premium Cleans insurance.

Premium Clean have completely washed their hands of the damage their cleaner caused. They are not taking any responsibility. We have been so disappointed with their response to this situation. This company has been so unprofessional that it has left us no option but to leave this honest review to stop others having the same experience. It is unfathomable that our friend now has to contact her insurance to try to rectify the damage caused by a Premium Clean cleaner.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Or if you do, be aware and make sure you take a photo of every room in the house from every angle prior to the clean starting OR have CCTV set up in every room as they will not take responsibility.

Very pleasant operator who did a very good job and covered the to do list well. Especially thankful for the attention paid to skirting boards and carpet vacuum. Thank you. S

I have found this company to be dishonest and unfair. They agreed to clean my apartment with furniture in it. I moved it into one room so they could clean the rest of the place. Then the cleaner didn't turn up, she rang 45 minutes in advance to tell me she won't come unless all the furniture was gone. She was rude and unprofessional. Then the company charged me $90 cancellation fee - even though it was the cleaner who cancelled on me. And of course they hid behind a policy. They have been unfair, unprofessional and dishonest. Telling me that the cleaner needs to reimbursed for their petrol, when the cleaner never arrived.
IN RESPONSE
My order was accepted with furniture in one room (the rest of the place could have been cleaned), at no stage in the sales process did someone inform me of this policy AND the cleaner was not at the site. I have been offered my refund and asked to remove this review. Considering how I was treated, I would rather help others to avoid this unprofessional company.

Professional, friendly cleaning produced to a high standard. The changes in the bathroom and kitchen were particularly pleasing. Attention to detail was noted cleaning the dust of every surface. I have honestly not seen such high standards before.
It was particularly reassuring to know that no chemicals are used. All the cleaning equipment was brought to the house which was one less thing to worry about.

I was satisfied with the service I was given a house in a good perfect clean condition and I was happy with the results that I wasn’t sure I had before I used the service. I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants a good end of tenancy cleaning service and I wouldn’t mind sharing their service and using them again.

Terrible experience, this company should be investigated for scamming.
Avoid this service!

Paid a lot of money for a spring clean and ended up with some areas looking even dirtier than before. Dust and dirt marks in every area, including shower glass and floor they supposedly mopped.

They haven't done a half of what their checklist adverised on their website.

Customer service is refusing to offer any options to resolve any of the issues.

Update: After seeing this review customer service reached out to me.
Since their first email was a straight up refusal I have got some of their poor work mitigated - I wasn't willing to live in a dirty house.

I was happy to discuss partial refund and follow-up clean to resolve the issue, which they refused to do.

Their offer was to reimburse $100, which is a joke considering they charged $500 for 1 person to clean for 3 hours, do an extremely poor job, and not cover even a half what they advertise on the checklist on their website.

Fulfilling your service promise is not an "exception" as you try to position it here, it is your legal obligation.
Charging for your services reasonably is also your leagal obligation.

Looking at all the reviews here it's obvious you scam people out of money consistently.

We used this company to have 2 houses cleaned. Their customer service was excellent and the cleaners did a wonderful job. We will be using their services again and would definitely recommend to others.

Really poor experience all around - Cleaner did a good job but clearly overworked and underpaid. No respect from the company towards the worker or the client - just get pushed to different areas of the company with no recourse.

Do not use this company. You can see from recent reviews that they have taken a downward spiral.

Very poor.

Worst service by this company. They charged me extra. The person who came in did a good job. However, vaccum could not be done. Premium Clean didn't refund the money which they charged for vaccum. When I asked for it their team was most unhelpful and rude.
No complains with the cleaning lady. But this company is a fraud as they charge money for services not provided then don't respond to you. Please beware and do not use them.

Edit: on posting this review, Premium contacted me after reviewing my calls and agreed I was told the service would be completed no matter the time taken. They refunded me my cancellation fee. I hope this provides better service for others in future.

Appalling service from Premium. Had booked a month in advance for a move-out clean at 10am. I was waiting at the property when I was called at 10.15am to advise no one would be coming and they could send someone at 3pm "guaranteed". At 3pm I got a call from a sub-contractor saying they've just seen the job request come through but they were on an all-day job so wouldn't get there till 5pm. I had already shuffled my entire day around for a 3pm reschedule and could no longer get a hold of Premium Clean. I was told at booking that I wasn't to worry about how long it takes "the cleaners stay until the job is done". When the sub-contractor arrived, Premium Clean spoke to me via a call he had made to them that they would have to charge me more as he's quoted a longer job. I said there was no way I was paying more after the appalling communication and service received so far, and I had lost deposits on other things I'd had to reschedule that afternoon. Premium said if I didn't pay more then the cleaners would only be able to work so long and make the place so clean, in contrast to what was said when I booked. I cancelled the service and argued that this wasn't a change of mind cancellation, this was in response to their lack of communication, misinformation, no recompense for mucking me around, and now trying to charge me more. They still charged me the cancellation fee. Would have expected better apologies and service from a well-established company.

If you're looking to save yourself stress and time during a busy moving time, please look for another company or do the cleaning yourself. The 'cleaning' was done twice, both 'attempts to a very poor standard. The cleaners were late, rude, argumentative and didn't communicate well. I wouldn't enjoy having them near my home if used on a regular basis. One of them said: "we just wipe down" while working on a 'deep clean' that was booked.the first time, It was approx. 55 minutes from the moment they arrived to the moment they called to say they were done. 55 minutes to do a deep bond clean? I was surprised to see that their cleaning products were basic supermarket ones: washing up liquid, some spray and a couple of rags. They didn't have step ladders to get to any harder to reach areas or windows, which were part of the deal I paid for.

Just all round not good.

We rang around and got quotes for cleaning the kitchen, 2 bathrooms and the oven for an end of tenancy in a 3 bedroom house in Christchurch. Chose Premium Cleaning off the back of this. They rocked up 2.5 hours late with no apology or nothing. Then 30 minutes into the clean I got a call saying they needed an extra $200 to complete the clean AS it was a 3 bedroom house not a 1 bedroom house. They never were and were never asked to do anything with the bedrooms. We refused to pay the extra as they had quoted originally for doing the kitchen and bathrooms in a 3 bedroom house. So they pulled the cleaner out. Would never use them again as unethical and terrible communication

I had booked in for a cleaner from premium cleaners in January 2023. I was approached from a cleaner that professionally cleaned my unit.and after inspection.was very overwhelmed how this lady transformed all the year of build up soil on my walls ceiling floor bathroom lavatory and other various area that needed attention it was like walking in to a home that look like new. I personally would like to thank Lauren who cleaned my home from your company. As a retired carpetcleaner in rotorua. I have seen meany cleaner in my years.that are very hard to fine.such as lauren.and her experience go beyond I can imagine it's not as easy to fine people like lauren.from my personal experience she a asset to your company Premium cleaners. Yes 100% highly recommended. Over my carpet cleaning career. I have personally seen alot of cleaners come across very difficult cleaning job.it a task that can become unimaginable to do depends on the property and conditions. These cleaners like Lauren are truly a asset.and we need people like Lauren but of cause good recommendation come along way with the company like premium cleaners wel done. From my experience service and email from premium cleaner kept me up to date was fantastic. As for the cleaner unbelievable transformation work done to my unit wow.
