Very unpleasant experience. I had problems throughout my tenancy, and the property manager was unhelpful and insensitive. My friends and I have dealt with other agencies who have been more accommodating. I will never choose Ray White for renting or buying property in the future, and I would advise other people to stay away as well.

We were really impressed with Damian Piggin and the way he kept us up to date. He made regular contact with us and was always positive about the outcome that we together set at the start.
He was friendly, approachable and willing to listen to us as sellers.
We feel that we were well looked after.

The property manager is so ignorant, and they need to improve how to service clients, if you can't talk to clients nicely, may be it's a good idea to change a job.

Krister Samuel was excellent in his committment to successfully marketing our multi room central city apartment. His level of expertise and professionalism was superlative and he was focused on obtaining the best result possible for us. I highly recommend listing with him.

This is the worst office. Do not rent here. Someone stole from my Whitaker Place apartment and my friend had her car stolen there as well and the agent didnt care at all.

Worst service provider.they are beggars, can’t even pay bond refund.doesn’t pick the call when you do. Laileen Tjauw is one of their property manager and she don’t give a damn about her job.

We are enormously displeased with Ray White City Apartments for a few different reasons. Firstly, upon arriving to view the apartment, the agent showing it was half an hour late and while showing it, she had the most uninterested attitude and didn’t show or say anything, just opened the door and stood there impatiently and bored. After viewing, we made our interest in renting it clear to her and told her we wanted to sign straight away. She ignored us, turned her back to us and while walking away yelled: “do it online”. We had to go to the office and only when we waved a credit card to pay a deposit they payed attention. They pushed my partner a contract in her hands and rushed her into signing it saying they didn’t really have time but she had to quickly sign if we wanted the place and sent her walking without further information. From this point on our communication was with property manager Amie Twidle and we are, at the least, displeased with her. When we viewed it, the apartment was very dirty so we requested it to be cleaned, which she didn’t until we moved in and complained about it, and even then she wanted us to take time off work to be there. Only when we put our foot down she finally agreed to go herself to supervise. Later, we noticed our stovetop was defect. We informed Amie and it took her 5 days to confirm arranging an electrician. The whole process from informing to having a working stovetop again took over 3 weeks, forcing us to spend a lot of money on take away every day. Amy just said it wasn’t her responsibility or fault. Things went on like this with a stovetop that broke again and a fridge that stopped working, for which Amy wanted me to contact the owner of the place myself to replace it. That’s Ray White’s job and we pay a big letting fee for this kind of service. Towards the end of our lease, it appeared we’d been rushed into signing a lease that was 2 months longer than the 6 months we agreed on and also a month passed our visa expiry date and our right to legally rent an apartment in NZ for that matter. Of course we have fault in not seeing that they changed the date but nobody ever spoke about a lease for 8 months. It was either 6 or 12. We now understand why they rushed us into signing quickly “if we didn’t want to lose the apartment” and distracted us from the details. Conveniently enough the person that had us sign it no longer worked for Ray White. So we contacted property manager Amy and she didn’t show the slightest interest in the situation. She just claimed we requested this, which is complete nonsense. Only a fool would deliberately request a lease ending passed the date of them leaving the country. So knowing what they did, we politely requested some co-operation and taking responsibility to come to an agreement, it was after all them who either acted in bad faith or made a mistake. Amy again showed no interest and bombarded us with property management textbook copy/paste and Ray White company policy. When we said we’d take steps to clarify their mistake, she basically said “So sue us”, knowing we didn’t have the time in NZ left and were on our own and she had Ray White’s legal team behind her doing it for her. We were leaving so we stopped caring about the 2 months extra rent we had to pay + $500 fee for leaving early. She said we’d have to pay rent until they found someone new but they never advertised the appartment for rent straight away, until a day after the date (2 months later) our initial lease ended they conveniently found new tenants. Even though were asked a $500 fee to terminate the contract, they kept our bond for another 2 months. And that was the end of our experience with Ray White City Apartments.
We are absolutely disgusted by the uninterested and impersonal attitude of this agency and the laziness and unprofessionalism of Amy Twidle as a property manager towards tenants. Never seen anything like this before. We loved living in our apartment in Auckland CBD but have regretted renting it because of the frustration Ray White City Apartments has brought us.

I'm not the smartest when it comes to these things but you guys went above and beyond to make sure I was 100% clear of how things work. Thank you so much. 10/10

We had a very positive experience building our home with ray white. Craig was extremely helpful and went above and beyond throughout the process. Have bought with ray white prior and wouldn't use anybody else. Thank you Craig for everything. Karen and Matthew Corcoran

While many people may have left faux reviews of this branch of Ray White probably due to not living up to their end of the tenancy agreement I did have the pleasure of dealing with the very professional staff here. I suggest if you wish to have a hassle free experience and easy flowing paperwork you choose to go through these wonderful people. Thank you from mine to yours.

Awful communication skills, awful interpersonal skills from staff, no timely communication, lack of information. These are some of the things that Ray White agents lack, would HIGHLY recommend steering clear of any Ray White listings unless you want a headache constantly throughout the duration of your contract. Would love to rate 0 stars, 1 seems too many.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience also! We met with Michelle who advised she would show us an apartment. We waited all day for her to contact us, she never did! She also didn’t email us listings as promised. It made us feel unworthy.

Visited to find an apartment to rent and look for general information on Auckland area; as we are new here. As landlords of several properties ourselves, we know how important it is to find good tenants. Receptionist was incredibly rude, could not be bothered to talk to us and just kept answering my questions with "look online". Horrible customer service. Will not be renting or letting out through this company.
